"Halt! You will come with us! We may not kill you, according to King's order, however we have been instructed to injure you if necessary," barked the guard Muriel had been speaking with earlier this morning.

"Uhhh... where are you taking me?" I asked shakily.

"To King Hamitory of course, for trial!" The guard announced irately.

Those words sent a chill down my spine.

I didn't have any idea why they couldn't take me. They were practically yanking my arms off!

Then I looked down... oh... I started smiling like an idiot. Just grinning like the greatest thing ever just happened right before my eyes. Which, of course, it did! How could they take me without my feet! Frozen to the floor as they were obviously.

"Well lookie there! My magic kicked in!" I exclaimed. But then, I had a thought, I need Muriel. He has the answers and maybe I can get some answers. "But I guess I'll humor you for a little while," I added slowly in a strong, unafraid tone. I then, melted the ice and let them lead me to King Hamitory.

"Mrs. Alyson, might I ask why you were jumping off your window ledge?

"I...," whoa... well this was harder to explain than I thought, " well... I.. uhm.. I was just uhh... going to get... uh... something out of my old cottage....?" I fibbed terribly.

"NO!" the king slammed on his throne. "Alyson! Did you think you could get by so easily with such a LIE?!" I saw the utter disappointment in his green eyes, he knew I lied and it actually made me feel guilty.

"Well.. no, sir. I just... it's a complicated story... and... well I don't think anyone here would believe me... I just figured... that... uhm...," the way he glared at me made it harder to talk with a lie on my conscience than it already was," that I would end up in less trouble...-"

I was interrupted,  by my favorite person here, that's right, Muriel. "Sir, I believe what the young girl is trying to say is that it is a long and unbelievable story. I believe it but who am I to tell you what to think..."

"Go ahead, since the young girl so oBviously cannot speak for herself?" The king spoke.

I collapsed, in exhaustion, and listened to Muriel tell my entire story, he was at the part where he sent the ghost to stop me when I slowly drifted to sleep after what a long day I'd had.
