I slowly get out of the covers and look over to Jughead, his hair is in every direction and his under eyes look tired. His arms rest around Janet as his head rests on top of hers as she holds her stuffed plush to her chest.

Started getting a lot of nightmares recently and being daddy's girl she comes in here nearly four times a week.

Jughead won't wake me up and all always comfort her and has to big of a heart to say no when she asks to stay. I always have her go back to bed another reason he never wakes me up. He has grown an unimaginable range of patience over the years especially for his kids.

I head into the bathroom. My drawer of makeup is open.

I sigh and begin to get dressed. With comfy shorts and a shirt, I head to Jamie's room. He sleeps just like Jughead, limbs in different directions, unless he is with Janet, always stiff not to bother her, and hair in every direction.

"Jamie" I smile, I open his curtains to the sunshine now on his face, he groans.

"It's too early for this."

I laugh, "come on Jamie let's go."

I place his gray beanie onto his side table, "it's nice out don't wear black."

"Well now I have to wear it."

He sits up and rubs his eyes, "we bought you some new clothes last week."

"Dad took me remember?" The only clothes in his closet are black colored or white, some of his father's flannels and S shirts that are old and worn. Just like his father

"I'll make avocado toast if you hurry up, wear something colorful." I stand up and head out of his room, "don't go back to sleep."

"I've never done that before" he gasps sarcastically placing his hand over his chest offended.

"Oh please."

I head into Brindy's room to see her sitting at her vanity, "somebody took my maraca and eyelash curler again, do you know where it went?"

"I can't get it to work" I turn her head, the skin on her neck and face two entirely different shades.

"Ok no that shade is too light, come." I take her hand and we head upstairs. She smiles at dad and Janet, she sits onto my chair in the bathroom and I shut the door.

I wipe off her makeup and have her rinse her face. She smiles at me, "will I ever get as good as you at makeup?"

"Yes, considering how many videos you watch about it of course. You also live with the best."

I open my drawers, "this is what you want, primer first."

I gently rub it onto her skin, "has it gotten better I can't tell?" She asks.

"Has what gotten better?"

"My acne" I raise my brows at her, "it's barely noticeable." She clearly doesn't believe me, "I had acne younger than everyone else too."

"You did?" I hum in agreement.

"Has anybody ever said anything about it to you?"

She nods, "karma will catch up, when you get in high school you won't have it and everyone else will. It's gotten a lot better since last year."
