Veronica

I slowly opened my eyes, I roll my shoulders and I take a big yawn, open my eyes fully. I look and see Jughead, I smile. His head is rested on my chest, his beanie fell off and is now on the floor.

I slowly run my hands through his soft curly black hair. I trace my finger on his moles on his cheeks, forming a little constellation on his face. He was so calm and peaceful, felt like I was watching the sunrise go up and down as his chest moved and occasionally he squirmed a little bit in his sleep.

His phone buzzed, I quickly glanced, picking it up, Betty. I quickly pressed end call, admit to late. Jughead groaned, "what time is it?"

I massaged his head with my hand, he looked like he was enjoying it but too scared to show anything. I signed, "you need to relax, I have seen you say to Betty that putting pressure on your shoulders hurt, you need to be less tense."

He shrugged, I played with one of his curls, "I must ask what shampoo does Jughead Jones use?"

He sighed, "the bubblegum scented."

I laugh, "at least you don't smell like a boy threw an ax bomb on you."

He snorted, "that is very, very true."

I had to tell him, he'll figure it out if I don't, "Betty called while you were asleep." His head shot up,

"What? Did you answer it?"

I shook my head no, "of course I didn't."

He got up and grabbed his phone, "next time answer, I have to go."

He quickly changed into his clothes and tossed me mine. That had been when I saw his shoulders when he got up you could see every bone in his back. I saw it when he cried outside of Pops, but it really hit me how scary that is, scared of how many pounds he will lose before-

He slammed the door, I quickly got out some clothes and I rushed outside, by the time I reached the front door and opened it he was gone.

Ring.

Betty

Hey bestie, it's good to talk to you again, see that Jughead walked out on you, I wonder why.

I looked to the nearest window, just the buildings, no people on the streets, nobody in the windows that I can see of. Where is this bitch.

I was fucking angry I pressed text and began to type with every once of anger I have.

Veronica

Stay out of this, you have Archie now? Happy? I hope you two are genuinely happy really. I want the best for Archie and you, but don't start dragging Jughead back into this.

Betty

He needs to tell you that he hit me, it wasn't just me. He hit me just like his dad once did to him, he was the one who started that from the very beginning!

Veronica

How can I possibly believe you, how can I believe that when you never told me what was going on with you and Jughead? How can I? Now that I have seen some of the scars, and I am damn certain there are more on Jughead's body that is from you!

Betty

Veronica how can you honestly want to be with a emo sad boy who cuts and have burns all over his body? Should be dead for all I care.

Veronica

That's what you'll be if you step foot in this town, if I find you you'll be dead before you hit the floor. There are many things you know about me, and one is that I keep my word. You will be shot in the head just like Jason Blossom.

I know people you forget Betty I'm a Lodge. I have people who will turn the other way whilst you disappear. I know people who can break into your house and make you disappear. So don't even think about coming back, or you'll deal with me.

Betty has left the conversation.

I felt my body burning with rage, I began to head to the High School. I walked down the halls searching for the correct one, I walked into the boy's bathroom, opened the second toilet stall and opened the top of the toilet.

I may have loved Archie and trusted and believed him but I damn right know he put another gun in here months ago, for if "something" or "someone" happened. I reached my hand into the filthy water and pulled out the gun.

I slipped it onto my waistband and their my jacket around my lower stomach keeping the weapon hidden. I walked out of the doors and placed my sunglasses on and began to walk down the big not so innocent streets anymore.

Look inside the once innocent shops, like maple syrup shop, now long deemed as sweetened blood of Jason Blossom. Look down the street of the girl and boy next door, homes lost with only bland colors now. Starting down Betty Cooper's house, a missing flyer hung by her mom. The not so innocent, never knowing who will be the next, serial killer, tragedy, con artist, or victim.
