she walked towards the gate of camp jaha, right behind lincoln. everyone else was in front her. "sorry ma'am, you can't come in."

her mouth opened in disbelief, "i haven't seen my brother in weeks, and you wanna tell me i can't come in?" she questioned the man like he was crazy. all she wanted to do was be with lincoln at the moment, before returning to her side of the gates, but this man would not let up.

"it's a violation of our rules."

"i don't give a fuck about your rules, i wanna be with him." the others had turned around when they heard the commotion. the man was holding his arm out in front her, gun in hand. she tried to push past him before he grabbed her arm rather roughly. she pulled out her knife and pointed it at the man, "let go of me. now."

"hey, let her in." bellamy walked up to the two. "it's okay, she's with us."

the man let go of her arm, sighing before giving a hesitant glance to bellamy, "fine, but you hand over your weapons."

she scoffed before shaking her head, "i think i'm good." she pushed past him, bellamy following behind.

"you can't go around threatening people, especially if we're going to be fighting each other later." she turned around as bellamy spoke to her, looking at the blank all in front of her.

      she murmured, "yeah, whatever."

"he's your brother?" he sat down beside the girl.

"yeah. he's not my actual brother but we grew up together and he's basically my brother. he's my only family." she sighed.

bellamy didn't know how to respond at first. he was part of the reason he had been gone that week. his eyes found the ground in hesitation, "he'll be fine. he's a warrior right? he can fight this."

she snorted, "he has always been a fighter."

she didn't know why she was telling the man this. it wasn't like she was spilling her life story, but she couldn't understand why she opened up to him at all, and especially why so easily.

"octavia has seemed to take a liking to him." his eyes found the girls face, lingering there for a moment.

she turned to meet his eyes, she could literally feel him staring. he should be more discreet, she thought. "i guess love will do that to you."

before he could respond octavia came out of the med bay door, "y'all can come in now." she was just glad to get out of this situation whilst she still could. she didn't need him asking anymore questions.
