     love is weakness.

     right?

so why did her mind drift back to bellamy blake? she wondered how he was coping with the loss of his friend. she pondered on the thought of him. his face, his eyes, his lips. why had this been happening so much since they recently met?

"you're joking around right now?" she deadpanned the man walking up to her. "seriously?"

"just wanted to speak to you."

she chuckled, "do not call me sunshine blake." she hated that nickname.

     "whatever sunshine."

although it probably wasn't the time, the two walked towards the ark, him just going back and her going to check on lincoln, the two began to converse in a conversation.

she didn't understand why she was telling him about this. no one else knew this much about her except lincoln. so why was she telling bellamy blake?

the girl was a logical thinker, she always pushed her emotions aside or atleast tried. she was taught that at a young age and it was continued to be pushed into her head by their fleimkepa, titus.

so why was she thinking with her heart? her heart was telling her to walk into the curly headed man's trap, right into his arms. but, her head was telling her to not. so why was she wanting to listen to her heart?

fleimkepa titus taught them everything a night blood needed to know, about being commander, life in general— about being a nightblood. thinking with your heart will get you killed.

everyone knew about her being a nightblood. she was trained like every other. but when the time came for the conclave, she bowed to lexa. she knew that if that's what the spirit was telling her, she was needed for something. and lexa needed to be commander. so she bowed before her, lexa sparing her life— and that's when her start of her realm of the mockingjay began.

she definitely didn't understand why bellamy was being so nice to her. he was supposed to hate her for what happened to finn. she did play a part in his death, one way or another. she had wanted his friend dead. before bellamy could continue to tell her about his forsaken love about history, clarke jogged up to them.

"bellamy," she shouted. the two turned around to face clarke. the blonde made a face at her while she just rolled her eyes. "we're going back to tondc to burn finn's and the others bodies. i need you to come. can you get octavia?"

     "and lincoln," alex threw in.

bellamy's eyes flickered between the two women in front of him before settling on clarke, "are you sure this is a good idea?"
