alex had never had a hard time saying goodbye to people. she knew she would always come back and she prayed to the commanders that they would come back to her. so she didn't understand why saying goodbye to bellamy was so hard this morning.
bellamy and lincoln had left, both asked their sisters to look after the others. she remembered their conversation as it was burned into her brain; his smile that was.
"i'll see you soon sunshine," he said with a smile standing in front of her.
she hated that name in public, but secretly loved it. "no," she said with a shake of her head. "just come back bellamy."
"may we meet again."
she shook her head once again, "i'm not saying that blake."
a laugh escaped his lips as he hesitantly pulled her in for a hug. a friendly hug— that was.
octavia and alex had started to form a close bond over their brothers. alex hoped they'd stay like this too. that's why when octavia left for camp jaha, alex knew she was going to be in the group to help them train.
lexa had sent a group to go to camp jaha and alex was right beside indra. "open the gate!"
the gate was open and they were faced with guards armed with guns standing on the sides of the walkways. she looked around as the people stared at them walking in.
"mila op. blika au. misou, tu bilaik hed hauz gona kamp raun tri graun." indra voiced over the crowd. (eyes up. heads high. remember, we're the ones with a thousand warriors in the woods.)
the group waled towards the entrance where kane was standing. "mounin. i thought we'd start with a reception then move on to training. we have a lot to learn from each other." he smiled at the two in front of him before continuing. "weapons there, please. only our guards are armed here." he pointed towards a bin in which alex made the first move. she took her sword out, happy that she had remembered it today. she placed the sword in the bin, taking the bow of her back, arrows in tow. she set them down beside the bin, not wanting them to get broke. (welcome.)
"i keep the knife," she spoke to kane who nodded. next, indra hesitantly took to her sword, throwing it in the container and everyone else followed after. she trusted octavia and she knew that she was here.
"thank you for agreeing to this, indra." kane said.
indra responded, "we're here on the commander's orders. i agreed to nothing." she walked into the ark, with alex following after.
