18 | Cuddles

Y/N POV
I sat beside Loki, he had been unconscious for nearly two days now. Wanda kept wanting me to train with her and find out more about my new powers but I refused to leave Loki's side.

I couldn't sleep so I just sat there watching Loki's chest rise and fall. His head turned towards me and his eyes opened. I gasped at the sight of him being awake.

"Loki?"

"Y/N," he smiled "how long have I been out?"

"A little over 2 days. I'll get Bruce and Tony to come check on you."

Loki nodded and I went to find Bruce first. It was 11:36 pm but I knew that Bruce would still be in the lab.

I shoved open the doors and saw that Tony was there too.

"Hey kid, what's up?" Tony asked

"It's Loki he's awake!" I panted

They didn't say anything in response, instead they just started running to Loki's hospital room.

Bruce cleared him but told us that he was on bed rest for the next 2 weeks.

The next morning I figured it was time to start training with Wanda. I walked to the training room and she was way more exited than me.

"Ok we'll start simple, just some control. Try doing this." She said

Red balls of energy started forming in her hands. I tried to copy but instead a blast shot out and a punching bag was destroyed. 

"Oops, sorry"

"It's ok. Try again but don't put much thought in it, just let it happen."

"Ok..."

I hesitantly put my hand out in front of me. A ball formed with ease.

"Alright now throw it at me." Wanda instructed

"What?! I'm not throwing it at you."

"It's ok I can block it and it will help you learn to control your blasts."

"Fine."

I carefully threw the energy ball at her. I got the hang of it quickly to our surprise. Soon Wanda and I were fighting.

I walked back to my room and saw Loki in bed watching a movie.

"What ya watching?" I asked

"This show called 'New Girl.'"

"I love that show!"

I climbed in next to him and we continued watching until I wanted a snack. I got up and made some popcorn.

"Extra salt and butter?" Loki hopefully asked when he saw the popcorn.

"Always."

I climbed back in next to him.

"Hey Loki, you know what I just realized?"

He looked over to me "what?"

"You're on bed rest for 2 weeks and I need to keep training with Wanda for a while so we aren't going to be back in Asgard when we thought." I shoved some popcorn in my mouth after finishing my statement.

"You're right," he lifted a hand to my cheek "you know if we're going to be here a while we might as well have some fun." He said leaning into a kiss.

I leaned away from his lips "Loki no you are on bed rest."

"Come on Y/N ju-" he started to protest.

"Bed. Rest."

"Ugh!" His head fell down to his pillow.

"You're fine, we'll just cuddle." I giggled

"I guess that's ok too."

He acted like he hated cuddling but I knew he secretly loved it.
