**Princess Gema's POV:**

As the day ended, I decided to stand on the balcony where my father used to spend time.

No wonder he always preferred to come here and think at this very spot in the palace.

Staring out at the Aegean Sea, the view felt melancholic compared to what I saw from my room.

The red skies reflected the sorrow of every man mourning those lost in the Trojan War, while the calm sea symbolized the peaceful journey of every soul who had perished in the long-lasting conflict.

Together, they respectfully heralded another day that may come tomorrow, for no one knows how long they will live or when life shall end.

I wondered... was what I did the right decision?

I glanced at the emerald given to me by Nicko, hoping it would help me spot anything unusual in the beautiful scenery.

As I start to look pass through the Emerald, my senses sharpened.

I felt someone approaching...

Gema: *Who could it be?*

I waited as the footsteps grew closer and closer...

Why do I feel like something is telling me I won’t like the person who is coming?

King Agamemnon: *I can’t wait any longer for you to be ready and let me in, dear Queen Jewel.*

Gema: *O.O!*

Nicko: *Indeed, Mycenae. Today has been peaceful—just a bountiful harvest, no battles, and no issues for the kingdom to contend with for the week to come. Nothing but a warm, tranquil sunset...*

Mycenae: *Anything else that made your day, Nicko?*

I pondered for a moment. It seemed Mycenae wanted me to elaborate.

Nicko: *Like what, Mycenae?*

I asked, curious.

Mycenae: *Like… the princess, Nicko?*

*My lady?*

Nicko: *What made you say that, Mycenae?*

Mycenae: *It seems you still enjoy seeing the princess, even knowing she is married.*

What Mycenae said was true. I looked down, feeling shy and somewhat humiliated, and replied:

**Nicko:** Is that so, Mycenae?

**Mycenae:** Indeed, Nicko. It seems the princess enjoys your company as well.

I was taken aback by his comment and repeated, **Nicko:** Is that so, Mycenae?

He laughed heartily, clutching his belly. **Mycenae:** Even now, Nicko, you still don’t understand? I’ve already told you; it’s quite obvious!

I raised an eyebrow when, all of a sudden...
