**Gema's POV:**
King Agamemnon's men chased us as we fled from his castle.
While running, we lost sight of Mycenae and took a different path, seeking safety away from King Agamemnon.
After a long chase, Nicko and I found ourselves cornered at the edge of a cliff by the seashore.
If we jumped into the sea, we would likely meet our end on the sharp rocks below.
Emerging from the troops that had followed us was King Agamemnon, greeting Nicko’s arrival.
**King Agamemnon:** Ahhh... Argos! I’ve been eagerly awaiting your return...
**Nicko:** You traitor! You promised to spare Dardania for the fall of Troy...
**King Agamemnon:** Ah, ah, ah. I was not finished. I will spare the city of Dardania until the fall of Troy...
**Nicko:** You monster!
**Gema:** Nicko? What are you two talking about?
**Nicko:** My lady...?
**King Agamemnon:** My Queen Jewel? Don’t you prefer to stay by his side? He’s a demon!
**Gema:** What...?
**Nicko:** Let me explain, my lady...
**King Agamemnon:** My lady? You monster! He is a sorcerer who has lived for over a hundred years!
**Gema:** No wonder you’ve never aged while I grow old, Nicko.
Nicko held my hand tightly and said,
**Nicko:** Everything the king has said is true, but I swear to you, my lady, and to the River Styx that...
"I have changed since the first day I saw you."
I was deeply moved by Nicko’s words and cupped his face in my hands.
**Gema:** If this is to be our last day together, then I am happy to die by your side, Nicko...
We sealed our fate with a passionate kiss, worthy of a final farewell with the one you love.
Nicko held me by the shoulders, shaking me gently as he told me everything would be alright.
**Nicko:** Stay here, my lady. I can fight him...
Nicko challenged King Agamemnon to a duel. The king agreed, but Nicko had to fight without a sword.
**Gema:** That isn’t fair!
Nicko accepted the challenge and faced King Agamemnon.
Soon, Nicko was critically wounded by the king's swing of his sword.
**King Agamemnon:** Blood? Guess you’re not invulnerable anymore, ae Argos?
Agamemnon continued to slash at Nicko, and I begged him to stop, but he would not listen...
**Gema:** Stop! Please, Nicko?...
As King Agamemnon prepared to deliver his final blow, a burst of flame swirled around us.
**King Agamemnon:** Come on! Show yourself, coward! Save your favorite descendant, Argos!
**Hestia:** His name is Nicko!
As the raging flames began to wane, I rushed to Nicko’s side, grabbing his hand and hugging him tightly. It felt as though this might be our last moment together.
I clung to Nicko, holding him tighter as I closed my eyes, waiting for the end of our lives...
Certainly! Here’s a revised version for clarity, spelling, grammar, and flow:
---
**Hestia:** Princess Jewel, do not be afraid. I am not here to hurt you; rather, I am here to help you...
With my eyes closed, I heard a noble lady’s voice. As I opened my eyes, I saw the flames fading, blown away by the wind.
King Agamemnon lay on the ground, still breathing. His many men were deep in slumber.
I glanced at Nicko and was surprised to see that his wounds had healed. He, too, was in deep sleep, like the others.
I tried to wake him.
**Gema:** Nicko? Nicko?…
His eyes opened, and I felt relief that he was alright.
**Nicko:** What happened?
**Gema:** A great surge of fire saved us, Nicko...
Observing our surroundings, he helped me to stand.
**Nicko:** Now is the perfect time for us to escape, my lady…
**Gema:** Wait, Nicko?
As the fire subsided, I noticed a stone as crimson as the flames surrounding us. I turned to Nicko.
**Gema:** Look, Nicko! A crystal, like the one you gave me...
**Nicko:** But that, my lady, shines a different color...
We both leaned in closer. Was something moving inside it?
[Flashback and dialogue omitted for brevity]
**Aphrodite's POV:**
**Gema:** Nicko?…
**Nicko:** Yes, my lady?…
**Gema:** What do you call this beautiful crystal?
**Nicko:** I do not know, my lady. I’ve never seen one before...
**Gema:** Really, Nicko?
**Nicko:** Perhaps this is the first time a mortal has laid eyes on one? You should feel honored to name it, my lady...
**Gema:** I've always wanted a daughter with the name...
**Nicko:** Ruby (Red)?
**Gema:** Indeed, Nicko... And one more thing, Nicko?
**Nicko:** Yes, my lady?…
**Gema:** May we take some of this with us as we leave?
**Nicko:** Yes, my lady...
Gema and Nicko then departed from Greece, taking Ruby (Hestia) with them.
"By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife. Till death, you shall never part."
Life was not easy for them as gossip spread about Argos’ reward for their capture, lost to existence. Following Agamemnon's murder, mercenaries began to search for them across the Earth.
Eventually, they had a child whom they named Ruby. Afraid that their problems would extend to her, they entrusted her to a trusted old friend, Mycenae, who promised to care for her, knowing her parents had died in a fire accident and would always love her.
As Gema and Nicko continued to evade danger and face the consequences of the harsh life they led, they somehow managed to enjoy their existence, grateful to the gods for a life spent together.
Despite their tragic story, they believed they had a life worth remembering, for they knew Hestia was with them, fulfilling her promise:
**Hestia:** "I swore an oath to the River Styx that as long as I live, I will watch over you, dear Nicko."
