Chapter 18

Luke's POV

I can tell I already hate this dude. He has been here for a total of 30 seconds and he has already stolen Julie from me. Shit, she isn't even mine to lose.

"Calum this is Luke. Luke this is Calum hood." Julie says to me as he shakes my hand.

"Nice to meet you mate." He tells me with a strong Australian accent.

"Nice to meet you too." I say as I let go of his hand.

"Hey, Julie me and the boys are doing a concert tomorrow night at some small venue. You and your band can come backstage and hang out." Calum tells her.

"Sure sounds like fun me and the boys will be there. Where is the concert." She asks him.

"The Orpheum I think it is called."

"Oh ya we have played there it is really nice and the staff is amazing." She tells him.

"Don't you think we should be heading out cause you have school in the morning." I tell her.

"Oh ya I can't wait to see dad and Carlos. Oh Cal you will love Carlos he is such a big fan." She tells him as we walk a different way from him to make our way home.

Julie's POV

I pull the key out of my back pocket and I unlock the door. I open the door and take a deep breath in. I miss the familiar smell of my home.

"Papa, Carlos I am home." I yell into my house.

"Julie welcome home." they both say in unison as they both hug me.

"I've missed you both." I say as I let go of our hug.

"I will tell you all about the tour tomorrow but I am really tired." I tell them as I head up to my room and go to bed.

beep beep beep. 

Is the first thing I hear in the morning. I get out of bed and I get ready for school.

"Bye, papa bye Carlos." I say as I walk out of my front door.

I plug my phone into my car and I begin listening to 5 seconds of summer. I still can't believe that I will have a song with them. 

I pull into my usual parking spot and I sit in my car dreading going inside, back to the place that depletes my mental health. I look over to my right and I see Flynn in her car. She immediately jumps into my passenger seat and hugs me. Oh, how I have missed my best friend. 

"Ok, I need to hear everything how was the tour?" Flynn asks me as I see a couple of old polaroids of me and Nick taped on my dashboard.

"Look at how happy we were back then, who knew he would turn out to be such a jerk," I tell Flynn as I grab a polaroid and hand it to her, getting sidetracked from her question. 

She doesn't respond she just looks behind me with her jaw dropped. 

"What what what is it?" I ask her as I start to turn my head. 

"Don't look now but Nick has a girl with him." Flynn tells me as she shakes her head.

"What? Who?" I asked her wanting to turn around so bad.

"Ashley Wilson." She tells me

"I thought she moved away to lived with her mom instead of her dad."
