Chapter 1: Run!

Chimon POV:

"Run! Chimon! Run!" I hear Nanon and his friends shouting while chasing me in the hallway. Don't let us catch you, loner," Nanon said.

Y'all are wondering why Nanon and his friends are chasing me, right? So here's the story:

While I was walking to the cafeteria, I bumped into Nanon, and his food spilled on his shirt and shoes. 'Lucky me, I thought to myself.

Then, "I-i-I'm sor-," before I finish my sentence, Nanon punches me directly in the face, and I fall to the ground. I immediately stand up to say sorry again because I don't want Nanon to get mad at me. I'm scared of Nanon because he is known as the boss or bully in this school.

His family owns this school. After I stand with my head bowed and eyes on the ground because of embarrassment, I see Nanon frowning and showing visible anger. 'Punch' another punch on my stomach. I fall to the ground again, and my back first meets the ground. I curl my body because of my tummy. It hurts a lot. I want to stand, but my body hurts. I crawl. At least I can crawl.

I don't mind anymore if I look like a joke. All I want is to escape and get away from Nanon and his friends. I think one of Nanon's friends kicked me hard on my back, and it fucking hurt like hell.

After I crawled, I quickly stood up to run. I ran as fast as I could. I don't know where to go or where to hide. All I know is that I'm running while Nanon and his friends are chasing me in the hallway.

I feel my eyes getting watery and my face getting wet. While running, I bumped hard into someone and fell again on the ground. It hurt. I quickly stood up to say sorry to the guy who I bumped into, but I couldn't stay anymore because if Nanon and his friends chased me, I'd get beat again. So I quickly said "Khortod na Phi" While crying.

Before I stepped forward, Nanon held my wrist so tight that it hurt. I stared at Nanon with begging eyes, and he stared back at me. All I know is that he punched me directly in the stomach again, and someone pulled me from Nanon to stop hurting me, and I fainted.

After I fainted, I woke up in the clinic, and I saw someone by my bedside sleeping peacefully. I stared at him and thought, He is so handsome, I can't lie, hihi, I thought to myself while staring at him. I looked around and saw no one here in this clinic, so I stood up, but my legs were so weak that I couldn't stand, so I sat on the edge of the bed, and I was startled when someone grabbed my back and pushed me back to the bed.

I see the guy I bumped into. He said, "Go back to bed and rest. I'll call the nurse to check if you're okay already." I gave him an assured smile and nodded. After a couple of minutes, the nurse is done checking me up, so he guides me to sit on the edge of the bed and hands me a glass of water. "Thank you, Phi," I said before I got the glass of water he handed me.

After a minute of awkward silence, he finally spoke. "Why are Nanon and his friends chasing you?" he said with a serious face, so I looked down because I was scared, but I told him the whole story of why Nanon and his friends were chasing me. I was scared if I lied to him, and I was scared if he hurt me like Nanon did.

After I tell the whole truth story, I see on his face the anger, and he stares at me, so I look away because I'm scared. He said, "Why did Nanon do that?" I said, "I don't know Phi, but I deserve all of this because it's also my fault, Phi." I smiled at him.

All I know right now is that I am safe because I am at the clinic, and I have someone on my side who I think is going to protect me if Nanon is here.

Thank you, Phi; you're my lifesaver, I thought to myself.
