" Why didn't you invite Lauren?, " Jessica asked.
"Um..because it's my sleepover," I said for the hundredth time.

Jessica has been asking me for the past hour of why Lauren isn't invited, and she clearly hasn't noticed that Lauren hates me. Angela and Dahlia have been quite sweet about the sudden sleepover. My two friends from English named Heather Jackson and Veronica Chandler were making it even more fun. Jessica was kinda being a big bummer about not inviting Lauren and was kinda being noisy why I didn't invite Alice Cullen.

I put a frozen pizza in the oven and opened a case of soda. We turned on the television to watch Criminal Minds until a Tim Burton marathon came on.  Charlie soon came home and seemed over the moon that I had "actual friends" over. He had piece of pizza and went upstairs to his room. I real quickly followed him up the stairs and he looked at me.

"You okay, Bells?," he asked.
"I don't know if it was me or not, but did you hear the music?," I asked quickly.
"Yeah, I did. It also happened last night when Davis Meeks was found dead," he said.
"What?," I asked confused. "I didn't hear any music".
"It wasn't loud enough like today. Yesterday when we found him in the forest, the fog was the same blue hue and the music was loud," Charlie explained.
"Do you believe in fables? Or legends?," I asked.
"Are you gonna compare to a Siren?," Charlie asked.
"How did you know?," I asked.
"This has happened here many times before," he went on.
"This fog? The music? People getting killed?," I asked in a hurry.
"Yeah," he replied. "When I was born, there was thirteen murders and they were all the same. Even Davis's murder was the same".
"Drained of a blood?," I asked.
"Weirdly, when they do the autopsy, it says the were sustaining from an injury before they were killed," he added.
"So, a Siren is going after the injured," I said.
"And the suicidal," Charlie added.
"What?," I asked.

He looked around and the window started to glow the blue hue, again. The music was much louder and the air smelled like cigarette smoke. It made no sense to me because it was Cassius who killed Davis by accident. The only thing that would make sense is the scent of the air and the mass murders since Cassius is an addict to both. I walked back downstairs and sat with my friends.

We ate our pizza and watched the television some more. I had learned that Angela invited Selena Bane from our math class. She was a very pretty girl with perfectly straight dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, she always had a light tan, and was skinny but yet fit. She walked into the living room and sat down next to Angela.

"Hey Selena," I greeted with a smile.
"Hey Bella, I'm sorry if this is a late arrival," she apologized.
"Oh, it's alright. I was gonna call you but I knew you had that project," I said.
"Oh, I already finished it and then Angela called me over," she said.
"Nice," I smiled.
"I still wanna know why we can't invite Lauren," Jessica nagged.
"Jessica, if you haven't noticed but nobody here likes that blonde bitch," Dahlia said.

Jessica then after looked taken back as Dahlia said that. Dahlia had the idea of telling secrets so Jessica went ahead and said "we are doing that idea". We all sat in a circle and was waiting for Jessica to lead us.

"Okay, I will start first. You know how I live next door to the Mallorys?," Jessica started.
"Yeah," Dahlia said.
"Well, once I saw Logan go out to the roof of their house and smoke," Jessica said with a smile.
"That's not a secret. I see him do that in the hallway during fifth period," Dahlia said. "Cheryl Mallory pressures him a lot, that's why".
"Fine. Bella, have you and Edward ever have sex?," Jessica asked.
"No, Edward's against sex before marriage," I said.
"That's a shame," Jessica sighed.
"That's good," Angela said with a smile.
"That's extremely old-fashioned," Jessica said as she rolled her eyes.
"Because he is old-fashioned," I urged.
"Dahlia, do you have one?," Angela asked.
"Hmm..I secretly dated Mike back in Freshman year," Dahlia said.
"You dated Mike?," Jessica asked.
"Yeah, for like two months then we broke up," Dahlia said. "It was awkward".

We spent that night only doing that and Jessica made us all promise to go shopping together in the morning. We all slept in the living room but we kept the television on due to the creepy music. As everyone fell asleep, I could feel someone watching. I looked up and saw Edward standing in the doorway of the kitchen. I stared at him then went to try and sleep. I heard the light clicks of his shoes come over to me and felt him stare at me.

"You shouldn't be sleeping on the floor," he whispered.
"It's a sleepover," I whispered, back.
"I can see that and Alice wasn't quite pleased that she wasn't invited," Edward whispered.
"Still a sleepover and she doesn't sleep," I whispered.
"Are you upset?," Edward asked.
"Yes, I'm trying to sleep and the music is creeping me out," I whispered.
"The music?," Edward asked.
"Don't you hear it?," I asked.
"I do but I'm not afraid by it," he whispered.
"Please, just go," I begged.
"Fine," Edward whispered.

He carefully left through the front door. I fell asleep after that and heard the music die down. I heard the front door creak open and whispering. I ignored it and stayed asleep.
