Chapter 10

"I need back up!" I screamed into the Walkie talkie. "Matt! Stay back!" I screamed. "No! I'm not letting you go!" He yelled. Then everything stopped, and quiet. "Sacrifice yourself. Or we take your friends." Yelled someone. "Ok! I'll come out." I yelled. "No!" Matt screamed standing up from behind a barrier. "MATT NO!" I screamed as a bullet hit his chest.

"MATT!" I screamed. I woke up and was soaked in tears. I stood up off the couch, and rubbed my eyes. I quietly walked to matts bedroom, and creaked the door open. I walked over to the bed, and slid in next to him. "Bad dream?" He asked. "Ya." I sighed. "It's ok." He said sleepily. He then turned and spooned with me. "Matt?" I asked. "Ya?" He said. "I don't want to loose you." I said. "I don't want to loose you either." I sighed. "Please do never get involved when something bad is happening." I begged. "Ugh, ya I promise." I sighed. "Night." "Night." Matt went to go to bed but I snuck a quick kiss on the cheek. I think he smiled a little tho.

I got up at 6:00 in the morning and heard my walkie talkie making sounds. I got out of the bed, and headed for the sounds. "Mack-e-nzie! You need, to get out of there!" Someone yelled through the device. "Shit." Mumbled. "Matthew! Matthew! Get up, I got to go. And it's not safe for you to be here alone." I screamed. "What! What's wrong?" He asked getting dressed. "I don't know. But you're coming with me!" I said. "Ok." He smirked.

We ran down the side walks, and climbed up the fire escape. I slide the window open, and went in with Matthew following. "Who's he?" Asked Sydney. "No one. I mean. That's Matthew." I said. "Is he your boyfriend?" Asked Renee. "Yes-" Matt said. "No. I mean. Yes? Yes." I smiled blushing a bit. "You know the rules. And you broke them." Joc said. "I fucking know! I also went to a party! I broke that rule! I smoke weed I believe! That's another rule...I think." I snapped. "Fine. I guess we can let it slide. We have bigger problems." Said syd. "Like what?" I asked. Matthew grabbed my hand. "There's a new group in town. And there here to kill everyone. But there going to kill us on live tv. That's there plan." Said Renee. "Shit." I said.

Matthew and I were laying in bed. "If this is our last night together. Let's make it a good one." I said crawling ontop of him.
