Puppy

You decide to go shower so you don't smell when Aina gets here, because you know for a fact that it's gonna be the first thing she'll comment on. Knocking the bathroom door, you realize Akaashi must've been done showering, and was probably changing now. You enter the bathroom and lock the door behind you.

                                                                    ~Done Showering!~

Leaving the shower, you see a small sticky note on the bathroom door.

"Left to go pick up Bokuto! Will be back in half hour [insert heart with smiley face in it]"

You sigh and pull off the sticky note, and go to your room to grab an eraser. Erasing the heart, leaving the smiley face, you stick the note back up and go lie down for a bit on the couch.

"SAYING HI TO YOU IN PERSON FROM THE ONE AND ONLY-"

"AINA!", you yell in excitement as you run to the door to greet her.

"HEY YOU!"

"HEY- Wait how the hell did you open the door-"

"Don't you think I know where you keep the spare keys?"

"I actually didn't know we had spare keys- My roommate came here first."

"Same energy", Aina stifles a laugh before placing her purse down and walking around the apartment.

"Do you like it?", you ask smiling as your friend's eyes lit up looking at the tapestry in your room.

"Argh why did I want to do human phycology , I could've come here with you!", Aina frowns as she fingers the wall and goes to look at the kitchen.

"I wanna hear the tea you have from therapy!", you laugh as you flop down on the couch.

Aina laughs and sits down next to you.

"Sooo your roommate! Boy or girl? You don't like them right?", she asks sitting up to look at you.

"Boy, and yeah I didn't like them, but I think he's, not bad?", you respond.

"SO HE'S CUTE?", Aina laughs out slapping your back.

"Er-", your face started to heat up.

"SO HE IS!"

"Well uh-"

Cutting off your sentence, was the sound of tiny yips coming from outside the door.

"Your neighbors have a dog?", Aina asks, starting to fidget with her fingers.

"Not that I know of.", you say as you open the door to see Akaashi.

"Hey uh y/n-", he starts but you get distracted by a person with spiky grey hair standing next to him.

"Is this Bokuto?", you ask opening the door wider to let them in.

"Well, yes, but uh", Akaashi mumbles, before Bokuto turns around to reveal he was carrying a small puppy.

"OH HE'S SO CUTE!", you squeal, your hands shooting out to pet the puppy.

"So you'll take him?", Bokuto asks sheepishly.

"I'll what?", you repeat as you step back to let the three of them in.

"Let me explain-", Akaashi quickly said before he was cut off by a scream from Aina.

"AINA IT'S OKAY IT'S JUST A SMALL PUPPY DON'T WORRY!", you franticly say, leading Aina to sit back down on the couch.

"Just a puppy, just a puppy...", Aina repeats grabbing her inhaler from her purse.
