"Do you two really have to leave this early?", your mom asks for the 5th time as you're hauling your bag, now filled with not only clothes, but a lot of food from your mom too.

"Argh yesss mom we have to! And I have some work to finish too!", you yawn, rubbing your eyes as you finally stuff the bag in the passenger's seat.

"Alright alright! I'll tell your dad that you left and said good bye when he wakes up.", your mom sighs as she goes back to the door way as you get in the car.

"Akaashi are you sure you wanna sit back there?", you ask turning to look back at Akaashi who was quietly shuffling to get a good spot in between the bags your mom had kept, whilst making sure Onigiri wouldn't get squished.

"We came with two bags and leaving with 5.", he grumbled, finally finding a comfortable place to sit.

"My parents just like giving me free food! And who am I to complain.", you laugh as you wave to your mom and back the car out of the driveway.

"When's your project due again?", Akaashi asks taking out his phone.

"Monday.", you groan as you remember the work ahead of you.

"Mmm how much is it worth?", Akaashi asks glancing at you through the rearview mirror.

"I think about 10% of my grade for the first term.", you mumble.

"Y/N! That's a lot of points!", Akaashi scolds.

"Arghh I knowww, I just didn't get around to it.", you grumble.

"Don't worry we'll reach back to the dorm by 7:30, I'll help you if you need it.", Akaashi assures you as he slips his phone back into his pocket.

"Yeah yeah, oh do you want to play something?", you ask handing your phone to him.

"Sure, what do you want?", Akaashi asks smiling as he takes your phone.

"Put on the Akaashi playlist.", you grin as he scrolls to the playlist.

"So you made a playlist for me too!", he smiles as he clicks the play button.

"You better like the songs I put on."

"Coffee Breath? Are you trying to say I need to fix my breath?", he laughs.

"No! Well maybe...", you snicker.

"That's not the nicest thing to say to your boyfriend you know.", Akaashi frowns, but starts laughing.

"No special treatment!", you smile as he hands you your phone back.

Finally reaching the dorm at 8 am in the morning, you groggily walk out of the car.

"You can go ahead, I'll bring the bags up myself.", Akaashi reassures you, as he starts taking the bags out. You take Onigiri and walk up the stairs to flop down on the couch.

"I don't wanna do anything, Onigiri.", you complain to the puppy as you pull yourself back up to head to your room.

You walk over and pick up your computer as you start the project. But being sleep deprived while doing work isn't one of your strong suits, so you end up falling asleep in the midst of the second page.

You wake up a few hours later, now fully energized to plow through your project, but you don't see your computer anywhere in your room. Confused, you go to the living room to see Akaashi sleeping on the couch with your laptop in his lap. Smiling you take your laptop from him and look to see that your project has been mostly completed. You give a short gasp as you look back at Akaashi and plant a soft kiss on his cheek. Going to the last page of the project you see a little note Akaashi left you.

"Finished your project! Don't know when you'll wake up but hope this was a nice surprise <3"

You smile as you delete the sentence and go through all the pages, seeing that it had been thoroughly done. Pressing the submit button you go into the kitchen to make something for Akaashi when he wakes up.

"Oo what's that smell?", Akaashi groggily asks an hour later, rubbing his eyes as he sees you in the kitchen placing something on a plate.

"Oh your up! I made nanohana with karashiae! Go wash your hands so we can eat!", you smile as you dump a bit more onto Akaashi's plate.

"How did you know I like nanohana, and with karashiae?", Akaashi asks as he goes to wash his hands.

"I actually didn't. My mom packed them both so I thought I'd put them together.", you laugh blushing.

"Mm, tell her I say thank you!", he smiles placing one into his mouth after washing his hands.

"I will!", you nod taking the plates to the couch.

"And thank you for making this too!", he smiles, kissing you lightly on the cheek.

"And thank you for finishing my project! You really didn't have to.", you frown handing him a plate.

"But I wanted to!", he frowns back at you.

"Fine fine, but thank you anyways.", you grin at him.

"Cheers?", Akaashi smiles holding his fork up.

"For what?", you ask smiling.

"For us!", he responds.

"Cheers it is then.", you smile clinking your fork to his.
