chapter 7: the Race

As I arrive  at the race track Richie is walking to me 

his grinning like a fool as he reach me and I just smile at him 

he give me a hug and said oh! mi piccolo how are you?

Oh Rich I'm fine how about you I haven't seen you in ages

still handsome as ever haha how is your wife and son?

mi piccolo they are just fine and now now how are you holding up with your family?

uh it's just fine they are good people so I don't have to worry 

I heard your brother and his band mates are watching? 

yeah they are and they are excited to watch me I'm so nervous now Rich this will be the first time they will watch me for sure my parents and siblngs will watch on the tv.

as we are talking someone approach Rich and talk to him for a while 

and when the guy walk away he turns to me 

mi piccolo I heard that the famous Chase Elliot is joining the race 

he wiggles his eyebrows and he see my blush in my cheeks 

he knows that I had a big crush on Chase Elliot since I started racing

yeah well I heard at the news and also Ryan Blaney, Chris Buescher, Ryan Reed and Brett Moffitt

are joining those three are your hardest competitor 

well for the past 5 years I still can't beat the Great Chase Elliot 

while the two I already beat them but I still need to beat them 

and today hopefully I can I smile at him 

Yes you can piccolo they still not see your secret weapon and I haven't seen it since you race 

haha Rich you know I can't use that in right time I will 

no piccolo this is the right time now if you want to get famous as your brother 

not hiding in his shadow because you are an amazing girl and 

they love you still the world know the racer who beat the asses of Ryan Blaney and Chris Buescher 

last year he chuckle I giggle with what he said I watch some cars racers testing their cars 

I patted Richie's shoulder hey! father I chuckle at my words

Richie is also my manager and he is my mentor he was the one who encourage me to race 

when I was in the Philippines one time I join a drag racing my friend can't drive because he was injured the day before and I was the one who substitute him that's when I met Richie and my racing career began.

after I put my racing suit and all my safety gears 

I headed to my baby it is the Mclaren MP4-12C GTR long tail 

this is a gift from Richie and I only use it when I race

I have so many things to tell my family Aunt Holly always say that I should tell them the 

truth I refuse to take Louis offer because I already start my medicine course online 

last 3 months I am afraid that they might hate me after all I have but for now I must win this race and tell them the truth maybe Lou Lou will not insist to pay my studies because I already have money to pay for it.
