Mermaid 🧜♀
Come to me, My mermaid.
Half human, Half fish.
Mother of the ocean,
Source of beauty.
With shiny, long, flowing hair,
That everyone envy.
Your Glittering scales,
A magical mirror.
As you control the waves.Come closer, My mermaid,
My mermaid of golden voice.
To you is always yes,
I have no other choice.
You dwell on land,
You paint the waters,
Yet, you control the air
The wind and breeze and clear the atmosphere.
Where are you, My lady fair?
The shelly mirror you gifted me,
Reflects me totally, In an amazing way.
As I know you're shy, but I must say...
I miss and call on you today,
And I know I will forever.
I just want a glance of you,
Daughter of the water.***
Not all Mermaids want to be where the people are, and walk on those — what do you call them? — feet. Presumably invented in the parched, sun-baked minds of ancient sailors, Mermaids are the human/fish hybrids that rule the underwater kingdom. Their mythos has since been informed by Greek sirens, and they are seen as both menaces and potential lovers to those who travel by sea.
