Human without chest,
Booklungs in place of ribs.
Gaint coxas on place of back.
Where humans can sit, live and travel on.
Only the bold and bravest can ride on you.
Aqrabuamelu,
The scorpion man.
Endowed with head, torso and arms of human.
The Arachnid of the desert.
Head in place of chelicerae
Half human, half scorpion
It's a mythical companion.***
These scorpion-men of ancient Mesopotamia are best known for guarding the gates of the sun god in the Epic of Gilgamesh. They’re sort of like a desert Centaur with the added talent of being able to sting you with their tail.
