It's been around five months since Bucky and Alessia arrived in Bucharest, Romania for their holiday to regain our memories. They were staying in an average apartment with cable tv and crappy wifi but they spent a lot of time talking about their nightmares and memories along with training. Steve had contacted them a few times to check-in, he had informed them that Darla was a Hydra agent after Alessia the whole time.

Despite the true intentions behind the sudden vacation to Bucharest, Bucky and Alessia had spent quite some time entangled under the sheets while giggling like a couple of teenagers. They had more understanding of each other's physical shells than the concept of their broken walls within the catacombs of their minds.

Alessia was currently writing in her journal with the TV playing in the background. Bucky was out getting some groceries as they were low on food considering super-soldiers have high metabolisms which meant they ate more than a normal person would. Alessia had just had another mission resurface in her mind and it was more draining than the other memories that consumed her almost daily.

I had my orders, they informed me of who my target was. He was a man in his late forties and he was a massive threat to Hydra. They told me about his connection to the known organisation, Shield and despite Hydra's infiltration of the organisation; there were many threats who were close to finding the traces of Hydra. They told me this had to be a point-blank kill, he had many enemies so solving the case would be difficult.

I was jumping across the buildings to get to my targets home, I started to notice the familiar feeling I was getting in this area. I dropped from the roof onto the balcony, I spotted my target getting out of a car saying goodbye to someone before walking up to the door of his home. I made my way into the room as I heard his footsteps coming up the stairs.

I was seated in the shadow of the room as the man entered, he was laughing and swaying, heavily intoxicated. He took off his jacket and sat down on the end of his bed, "So, they've sent you after me." I stayed silent and still, I wasn't expecting the man to know that I was there. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna fight back. I sealed my fate long ago, young one." I stood up and walked towards the target, standing in front of him.

I looked into his eyes, they held no fear, no sadness and no pain; just pure contentment. "You don't know me Alessia, but you will." I raised my gun, resting it against his head as he gave me a sympathetic smile. "It's okay Alessia, everything will fall into place. And when it does, you must accept the fate that you sealed." And with that, I fired the shot, left absolutely confused.

I left out the balcony door and climbed up on to the roof, making my way back to the compound when a sharp scream echoed through the streets from the very house I had left. I made a sudden decision to turn back and watch as the woman standing there cried, holding the dead man in her arms. "Daddy!!" She was barely seventeen as tears fell from her face.
