'On this fine afternoon, the world gathers to witness the wedding of public figure Lorelai Briggs and Humanity's Strongest, Captain Levi. This is an event for the history books, a moment that stands for peace henceforth among humanity.'

"Lorelai, this is stupid. Do I have to wear this damn dress?" Elske was complaining, squirming as Lorelai fiddled with her bridesmaid gown.
"I think it's pretty," mumbled Iva from the corner.
The day was upon them. Lorelai and Levi were getting married today.
The ceremony was to be held in an old chapel that sat among the hills on Noaks' outskirts. The building was a beautiful, cream marble and was covered in snowy ivy. Most of the town's weddings were held here, as it was a beautiful spot.
The occasion had been intended to be small, brief, and intimate, with only their inner circle in attendance. Of course, that had gone completely out the window.
After the press had caught wind of the event, every newspaper in the Walls had been advertising the event. A great mass of nosy individuals had taken the opportunity to make the journey to witness the wedding.
A great crowd had appeared around the chapel. Officials in Noaks, assisted by the Survey Corps, were currently running crowd-control.
Of course, the interference was a major inconvenience. But, despite her reservations, Lorelai found it sweet that so many people cared about her wedding. It was a stark contrast to public opinion of her during the War of Words, anyhow,
Besides, how could she be upset? She was getting married today.
"Really, Elske, you volunteered for this," Lorelai scolded, tying a ribbon around the girl's waist.
"I didn't think the dress would be so itchy," she tugged at the collar.
Elske and Iva were to be Lorelai's flower girls. She'd been a little surprised at their request, but to see the little bandits in frilly dresses was an opportunity too adorable to deny.
They heard the door open behind them; as it opened, you could hear the chatter of the crowd outside. In came Thersa, carrying Lorelai's bouquet.
"It's mad out there," Thersa said, placing the flowers down. "The Commanders so busy with the crowd he hasn't had a chance to get ready for the ceremony."
"How many people?" Lorelai released Elske at last.
"Must be a few hundred at least. We managed to find some barricades to keep them away from the chapel."
"By Larken."
"You're quite popular. Hey, where's Petra? She should be helping you get into your gown."
"Oh," she waved her off. "There's time yet. Petra went to see about some situation with the catering."
"And Hange?"
"Last minute decorations. You know how she is."
Thersa plopped into a chair in front of the vanity exhaustedly. "Who knew weddings were so stressful."
Lorelai chuckled, reaching over to take her hand. "Thank you, sweetheart. You know I appreciate you very much."
Thersa went red. "It's my pleasure. Right," she stood up determinedly. "Let me fix your hair."
