"GASP! THE MALL!"
2:30 pm
"WE PLANNED ON GOING TO THE MALL THIS MORNING AT THE BUS STOP!" I yelled out loud. "WHAT TIME IS IT?!" Gwen struggled trying to turn her phone on. Ashland looked at my alarm clock. "It's 2:30." "IN 30 MINUTES WE LEAVE!" I run into my bathroom, to my closet and grabbed one of my favourite purses.
"Why don't we just go now? It's not like we have anything else to do—and besides the subway to the mall is leaving at 3:10."
I open my bedroom doors and lead everyone out.
"Wait, we're taking the subway?" London asked. As we got down to the front of the stairs I texted Lenny that we were leaving, as he was only a few houses down at Gwen's house. "Yes we are, I don't wanna hear complains because none of us can drive yet." I pointed at them.
We all started putting our shoes on and making sure we had all our essentials with us.
Phone, AirPods, chapstick, wallet, and hair claw. I stuffed it all in my purse.
"I got everything—ready to go?" I grabbed my keys for the house. "Yes! Let's go!" Aston stomps excitedly out the house; being followed by the rest of us. "Ugh, I love taking the subway; not because of the creepy men or the quality of the ride but....the wonders of the cute boys that just poof out of nowhere."
Gwen has hearts in her eyes. Not for real though.
Aston quickly agrees. "OMG SAME!" They high five each other. They soon pull me into they're little conversation leaving the boys behind. "SO, Larkin...have you seen any cute boys?" Gwen curiously asks me. We walk out of the neighbourhood towards the city area to the subway station. "Mmm, nope. Not yet at least" I shook my head and their mouths gape.
"HUH?! NO WAY!" Aston says slightly shocked. "Well she's about to see one soon; isn't she, Ashland?" London smirks and nudges Ashland. Ashland was in his own world, deep in though, but soon snapped out of it. "HUH? NO! I DIDN'T DO IT!" He throws his hands up, as if a gun was being pointed at him. We all laugh at him. "What the frick- you is tripping man." Aston laughs at her brother.
A few steps later we made our way down to the subway station, scanned our passes, and made our way to the waiting area.
While standing there, Gwen and Aston made a bet that if either one of them saw a cute guy, they would have to ask for his socials. They obviously shook on it. Even though they hoped to see some cute guys, they kept their heads down from spotting any because they're both wusses.
I chuckle. "You guys are such wusses." "Well, unlike you, I am an introvert." Gwen smiles at me, wanting to beat me up. I roll my eyes but as I blinked and open my eyes, I see an extremely cute guy so I mentioned it to the two. "Uh, ya'll are embarrassing." Ashland and London scoot away from us. "There's a really cute guy over there guys-" The subway came making the most unnecessary, loudest noise ever.
"Huh?" Both heads shoot up, watching the guy walk onto the subway as we did. "H-haha, since Larkin spotted him, you go and ask for his socials." Aston pushed me as we entered and ended up falling on an empty row of seats where they soon sat beside me but as I fixed myself properly on the seat, I notice the cute boy sitting in front of me on the opposite side of where I was.
This was actually, in fact, not the first sight of him.
