Ty Lee pov: Recovery girl: All done! You can return to the waiting rooms now.
My short-lived trip to recovery girl's office quickly ended and i walk back to the waiting rooms with Kirishima.
Kirishima: Hey Ty Lee, when is your next match?
I look at the small white clock on the wall in the hallway to see my next match is in 20 minutes! I still have to stretch and everything!
Ty Lee: Oh shi-
I run along the corridors quicker then light itself and shout bye to him.
Kirishima: Wait wha- oh, good luck!!

My next match is against Iida. I try not to stress much before my battles because it helps with nothing and i could break out! I sit down on one of the many chairs in the waiting from in a meditation-like form.
Iida: Sorry to interrupt, but it seems our match will be commencing shortly. I look forward to it.
He bows before marching outside of the room. He's a pretty strange guy but he's cool i guess.
I pick myself up off the chair and wave goodbye. Mina and Ochaco come up to give me a good luck hug.
timey skip
I stand on the opposite end of the platform to Iida. His face is unreadable, i cant tell if he wants to go do this in a mature and sophisticated way, or if he wants to punch my face until its a pile of smithereens. Nevertheless the battle starts.
Midnight: START
With his super fast engine thingys he runs towards me in an attempt to shove me off the platform. I know from miles away what he's planning so i wait until he im almost in his grasp to move. I merely avoid him, his full intention still on grabbing me that he doesn't register what is happening and he falls flat on his face.
Great! Now all i have to chi-block him!
^ Which is what i would've thought if he didn't get straight back up, grab my shoulders, and start running me off the platform! I have to think fast. I kick him hard in the stomach, so hard that he's doubled over and groaning because of the impact. He should count himself lucky, I could have just kicked him where the sun don't shine and be done.
That's when I saw them.
One fire-bender and one knife-thrower.
Mai and Azula.
flashback OoOoOoOo
Mai: Ugh stop your whining already. My headache is bad enough as it is.
Im sitting on the ground just outside of the training area . My body is littered with cuts, bruises and burns and tears are streaming down my face. How did i get here? Well me, Mai , a girl called Suki and a few others were training like we always do, 5am every morning. However this time Azula decided to turn up and watch. Obviously i was intimidated, with Azula's sharp eyes piercing into my soul. Me and Suki were fighting. In an attempt to impress Azula I try my hardest to chi-block Suki. At exactly the right moment she leaves an opening and i take my chance, to only be punched directly to the side of my face. I fall back in defeat. The pressure must've got to me that i let down my guard. Suki helps me up and i leave the training ground to get ice for my sore cheek. As i'm leaving, Azula stands up and calls me.
Azula: Ty Lee, if you don't mind coming with me, i think theres a couple of matters we need to discuss.
I wearily nod my head and follow her to a small closed off cave in the mountain valleys, just outside of the training area.
Azula: Take a seat there.
She points to a rock attached to the side of the cave.
Azula: Now Ty Lee... How do i say this... You're useless. How do you expect to please any master if all you can do is throw a couple of weak punches?! You couldn't even beat Suki! How pathetic huh Ty Lee. You can only survive in this world if you're strong. Strong like me, strong like Mai, strong like the masters. You are nothing compared to us. Now how about I teach you a little lesson about how to be strong huh? You can take a couple notes while you're at it too.
Azula brings up her hand and produces a small blue flame.
Ty Lee: No! Azula! Please don't i promise i'll be stronger!
Azula: Is that so? So whats stopping you from blocking this?!
She slashes the blue flame horizontally. My bare arms cover my face to protect it. The flame hits and the agonising pain flows through my arms and around my face and chest.
Azula: Well this was fun and all but i better get going, bye!
Before she goes she leans down to my body and whispers in my ear.
Azula: Remember Ty Lee, this is only the beginning.
She chuckles and leaves the cave, her laughs becoming louder and more insane-sounding as she leaves. I choke on a sob, the pain in my arms and cheek only adding to the overwhelming sadness. Mai and the others enter the cave after their training ends and of course they don't ask if i'm alright. They just sit there resting and making small talk, until Mai comments on my subtle cries.
End of flashback oOoOoO
I get ready in my fighting stance. I look up only to see Iida standing back with a confused look on his face. I make a confused look as well, until i realise i'm standing outside of the platform.

I lost.
And Azula and Mai just saw the whole thing.
