Orchestra ran as fast as her legs could take her, not wanting to be scooped up by the waiting talons of the gulls. They were known to pick up anything that moves, and that included dragonets. Maybe it was their parental drive to feed their family, or maybe they were just idiots like that. They didn't seem to notice her, and behind the leader flew a smaller dragon. She couldn't tell who they we're, but they looked like a dragonet too. She let out a yelp as one of them dipped below the others, seeming to look down at her. Or course, she would make them plummet from the sky if they dared grab her-- but the one Gulltalon seemed to be going for a different target. Princess Soul. How'd she even gotten there!? She was far from her, how did she catch up!?
Orchestra felt drawn to helping her rather shiny sister, but even if she did, that ungrateful child wouldn't think twice about trying to kill Kazoo again. She might even sacrifice them- what was Kazoo? Male? Female? Both, like how some plants are? ''I know this is a bad time, but what are you?'' She asked the terribly tired plant. Now that the Gulltalons were above them, it couldn't absorb the sunlight and at least hold itself up. Kazoo looked down at her, or at least tried to, and hissed softly.
''Bad time, princesss..'' Kazoo glanced backwards and sure enough, there was the Gullwing. It'd tackled and held Soul down, putting a talon over her mouth. Apparently she wasn't shiny enough-- or, too shiny, and it let her go, flying after its flock. Kazoo sighed and gripped Orchestra's horns tighter, as if it was telling her to move. She did exactly so, spotting the town that her home was placed in. Now she just had to run past the civilians, no problem! When she got home, she could lock herself in the bathroom and put the plant in the sink. Then it could grow there for a bit before someone eventually had to use the bathroom. Or her mother told her to get out and stop playing with the sink water.
Princess Orchestra stood and began to move her arms in a way to where the broken music that came from them sounded some-what nicer. She kept this up while she began to catch her breath, lashing her tail. Princess Soul leapt for her, eyeding the plant. This was when Orchestra found out that she could force dragons to stop doing things without touching them or yelling at them. The scaleless dragonet ducked her head once she'd heard her sister launch forwards, sending her flying forwards and tumbling into the town. Orchestra calmed the terrified plant with her music to no true avail, but it understood that it was safe in her protection. The young princess hopped her way towards the town she lived close to, making sure that everyone thought that she was taming the plant with her horrid music. ''Soul, dear sister! I found a way to tame Kazoo!'' She cooed.
''You can't tame a dragonet-eating plant! There's no way. I don't believe you!'' Soul hissed, jumping at Orchestra once more. Orchestra acted accordingly and ducked her head, tripping her sister in the air and flipping her onto her back. As she hit her ground, Orchestra stepped backwards.
''Ohho! But I did! Look, It doesn't bite me!'' Orchestra responded, petting Kazoo. Kazoo looked rather confused, but it began to understand what was happening. Orchestra wasn't going to let them get hurt, and she was trying to get her sister to trust the plant. ''Plus, if I do die, you can bring me back to life and we can run away!'' She chirped. Princess Soul watched as her little sister stroked the plant, and as the plant didn't flinch nor hiss. She was confused, Wolve'smanes were dragon eaters! She suspiciously reached out for Kazoo and pressed her talon into its face as an attempt to pet it, but she more so just squished its face. She repeatedly did this, and Kazoo simply retracted its head, trying to get away from the golden dragonet.
''What's it doing? Why is it running away?'' Tambourine suddenly said from behind Orchestra, causing her to scream in terror and curl into a sort of fetal-like state. Kazoo noticed Tambourine and let out a hiss, its petals stretching out to make it seem larger. Tambourine flinched, thinking that Kazoo was going to attack him. Kazoo instead turned back towards Orchestra and licked her snout with its long, slimy proboscis. ''Ew. Don't let that thing lick you!'' Tambourine flicked Kazoo's proboscis, causing the plant to let out a screech. Orchestra slapped his talon away from the plant, retracting it back into her little ball.
