[Introduction]

"New York City Airlines, Flight 158 bound for London, is experiencing some loss of altitude. The pilot seems to be circling the city after apparent engine failure."

Rhea tilt her head at the television. She slowly got up from her couch and looked out the window of her apartment. Seeing the flaming and smoking plane circling the sky, goosebumps rose on the girls arms.

"There is currently nothing they can do"

She looked back at the tv and her ears started to ring as she welcomed the sounds of the city to her mind. Searching for the plane in her mind, Rhea began to hear the screams of terror from inside the plane. Her eyes shot open and she made the decision to run outside to take action.

Running down the sidewalks, pushing past the idle standing people, Rhea headed toward the empty alley way behind her apartment. Still going full speed down the small road, Rhea started jumping and testing her flight, getting higher each time. After multiple attempts she pushed her hardest and made it into the air steadily. Smiling down at her feet, Rhea laughed and twirled around before hearing the chaos around her again. She looked up with determination and headed for the plane.

The plan was headed straight for a skyscraper, panic filled Rhea's stomach as she looked around her. Flying closer to the aircraft she dug her hands into the bottom of the plan and started steering it away, closer to the ocean near the city. The weight of the vehicle was almost too much for Rhea, she screamed and took heavy breaths as she secured the plan into the water, saving the passengers.

Rhea climbed up onto the plane's wing and straightened herself to look at her successful save. Helicopter lights shown on her and flashes of cameras snapped her picture from all around. She smiled to herself before taking off into the air again.

"Enhanced woman saves plane"

"New superhero in town?"

"Who is this mysterious woman?"

Rhea watches the tv in awe. Her medium length, dirty blonde hair wet from her shower and she sits on the couch in a long band T-shirt and extra large sweatpants, hiding her small frame, that unfortunately still smells slightly like smoke. A wide smile on the girls face while every news outlet talks about her big save.

A knock at her apartment door falters her excitement

Rhea uses her x-ray vision to see through her door. A man figure dressed in all black heavy clothing...peculiar.

She hesitantly walks up and opens the door. Shocked by the Dark clad man with an eye-patch hiding his left eye.

"Uhm- Hello. Who are you?" Rhea asked the man.

"Nick Fury, Director of Shield. I'm here to talk to you about becoming an Avenger."
