Peter tried his best to remain calm through the rest of the car ride. He spent the entire trip looking out the window and messing with the seem of his shirt. When the small group arrived, they walked into the diner and were immediately met with the eyes of everyone in the restaurant. The quartet made  there way to the nearest table, two politely smiling and waving and two walking with there heads down avoiding the eyes. Like Peter, Steve was not fond of the attention being an avenger brought. Not only did Peter not like the attention, but he also had not had much time to get used to it as the others had. It made him anxious. That, along with the anxiety of having to eat, could quickly bring him to a state of panic. So, the youngest avenger slid into the booth first, followed by Nat, and hid his face behind the menu. Peter peeked across the table to see Cap doing the exact same thing. He knew that if he looked he could see himself in each of the avengers.

Thinking about this made him forget about his brain for just a second too long. Before he knew it, the waitress had appeared to take the groups order. The boy could feel his face heat up as he scrambled to find something on the menu. He ended up choosing what he always does whenever he goes out to breakfast. French toast. The thought of the food gave him mixed feelings. He knew he would feel sick once he started eating but wanted to be able to enjoy one of his favorite foods which he has not eaten in months. He also knew that the smaller the group, the harder it is to hide how little you eat.

Luckily for Peter, Steve was preoccupied just trying to enjoy himself and ignore the other people in the restaurant. Tony also seemed to be distracted. The young avenger was far from blind. The two men had acted strange around each other for a while. Peter didn't care. As long as Tony was happy. Usually when it was this specific group of four they didn't hide it as much. Everyone always assumes Nat knows everything anyway so there was no use in hiding it and Tomy probably figured Peter knew him enough to know too. So, that only left Natasha for Peter to worry about. And, just as the other avengers did, Peter assumed she already knew what was going on anyway or atleast would put together the clues quickly.

The waitress came back with their food fairly quickly. She was accompanied by another worker to help her carry it all. The table soon filled with plates, most of which for the super solider alone. Peter was given his small plate of french toast and immediately felt his heart race. He tried to reason with his mind. He knew he needed to eat or else he would keep pacing out. He also knew that he was now losing weight at an alarming rate. It's as if all of it was now catching up to him and his body was simply just out of its stored up fuel. As everyone else began eating, Peter began cutting his food, playing with it. The table grew quite. The only sounds now were that of silverwear on plates and the chatter of other tables around them. These noises grew louder as the young avenger sat staring down at his still full plate. He took one bite, wanting so much just to enjoy it and not to think about it so hard. Instead, he could barely swallow. He instantly felt sick again. He put his fork down and drank the water he had ordered. Luckily no one seemed to notice his discomfort.

Peter picked his fork up again. He began cutting his food once again, avoiding catching anyone's attention or eyes. He just needed to get through the meal without being asked any questions. The others were done eating soon enough and the young spider thought he had gotten away with it. That is till Nat made him get a box for his food and told him he would be eating it later. As everyone got up to leave, Peter again started to feel dizzy. He just needed to make it to the car. Each step was rushed and driven. He made sure to stay at the back of the group in order to not reveal how he was feeling. His mission was almost complete as they approached the vehicle. Unfortunately it was not a success. The last think Peter remembered was falling.
