Chapter 6, Fever

-shoto Pov-
There was an awkward silence between me and the girl. I noticed she had bandages around her arms.
"How long have you been here?" I asked her, trying to break the silence.
"B-bout t-two years?" She stuttered nervously.

"You don't have to be scared around me, you know. I won't hurt you" I reassured her with a small, but weak, smile.

"W-what about you? How l-long have you been here?"

"Just about, all my life?" I wasn't completely sure if i were to be honest.
Suddenly the door flung open and crashed against the wall.

"Eri chit chat time is over. Let's go." Overhaul said coldly. Eri stuttered a goodbye as she was dragged away and out the door, leaving me alone for a couple of seconds before Dr.Haku came in.

-Eri POV-
He dragged me through the corridors back to my room. Shivering, breathing hard. "Stop that" he said angrily. I let out a small "ok".  He picked up a long needle, wiped my arm with a wet wipe and started injecting me. I don't like needles and i never will.

After a couple of hours i was allowed to sleep, but i heard HIM speaking to Haku outside.
"You were correct, Overhaul. She is just what we needed"
"Don't act as if I don't know already. I know what her quirk is capable off so i knew she would be perfect"
"It seems as if i misjudged you, Overhaul. Anyways. I've got the syringes, Is she asleep? You know i hate hearing little girl screams at 12. It gives me a headache"
The door opened, i slightly opened my eyes to see the biggest needle I've ever seen in my life. There were not one, but 3 of them. All with little tubes coming out linking towards empty bags.
"Seems like she's awake" Haku said.
I gasped. Overhaul looked at me and scoffed.
"You're only making this harder for yourself, Eri. I told you to sleep. Don't listen? Then you get given the consequences" he said. Putting plastic gloves over his hands.
"Now this is going to hurt, like a lot" he sighed, but he seemed to be enjoying himself.
Without a second thought i ran. I just kept running and running, i heard Haku laugh and Overhaul slowly chasing me. They find it amusing.

I had no idea where i was until crash. I looked up to a boy with green hair, "are you alright?" He asked he reached his hand out towards me as Overhaul walked over.

With the green boy was a boy with blonde hair, they both looked shocked but only slightly.
"Come on now Eri, we don't want to distract the hero's now. Don't we?"
He started walking away so I looked back at the boys then walked fast over to Overhaul. Hero's save people right? Can those boys save... me?

491 words, i had a bit of time on my hands so i thought i would add another chapter!
I'm glad to know people are enjoying this story, I've kind of got a plan in mind on how it should end. But only briefly.
I've been pretty distracted tbh, plus i start school tomorrow so i would have more limited time. But I'll try my best to finish if this story.
