Maya's POV
I woke up and Riley was still asleep so I decided to just go downstairs. I could smell the scent of pancakes and bacon coming form the kitchen. At home I never eat pancakes, bacon, or really anything that delicious. That's just another reason why I love staying at the Matthews.
"Good morning Maya" mrs Matthews said
"Morning" I said as I bit a piece of bacon
Riley came running down the stairs.
"Wow riles what's up?" I asked
"Dada said UNCLE JOSHUA is coming to visit!" Riley's screamed
"Really?" I asked kinda excited
"Yea and he's coming tomorrow!" Riley shouted doing a happy dance
I remember the last time I saw Joshua, we were flirting and everyone thought we would be together or something. But I have a boyfriend now, who I love, so there won't be anything problems. Right?
"Ok riles I know ur upset about ur uncle Joshua coming, but u don't have to be so angry about it" I said sarcastically while mrs Matthew then laughed a little
"Ha ha very funny Maya, I just hope u two don't flirt nonstop like last time" Riley said
"Riles? I have a boyfriend remember? And I'm WAY over ur uncle Josh" I stated
"Ok good. Now let's go to school. I wanna invite the boys over to meet him!" Riley said excitedly

"My uncle Josh is coming to visit!" Riley yelled
"Uh cool" Lucas said
"Yea cool" Farkle said
I can tell they aren't excited.
"Yea it is really cool! U guys wanna come meet him tomorrow?" Riley asked
"Well, isn't Maya dating ur uncle or something?" Farkle asked
"What?!?" Lucas said
"What?!?" I said
"No, they just flirt nonstop with each other but that's not the point. RU guys coming or not?" Riley said
"No. I'm not coming" Lucas said slamming his locker
"Farkle" Riley and I said at the same time
"I'm on it" Farkle said and went to find Lucas
I wonder what that was all about?

Farkle's POV
I finally found Lucas up against the lockers just, sitting there sadly. I went and sat down next to him.
"Hey" I said
"Hey" he said
"So u wanna tell me what that was all about back there" I asked
"Fine. But u can't tell ANYONE especially Maya. ok?" I said
"U like her don't u?" I said
"How'd u know?" He asked
"Well, now it kinda makes sense. You wanting her to get on your shoulders in the library, u getting upset hearing about all of Maya ex boyfriends, and just know hearing about how she flirts with Riley's uncle." I said
"Wow. I guess I'm being way to obvious." Lucas said
"Look dude, Maya has a boyfriend and, she's had ex boyfriends, and she may flirt with Riley's uncle, but that doesn't mean u give up on her. Trust me dude, u guys have chemistry, and LAYA will happen!" I cheered standing up
He laughed a little and stood up next to me.
"Ur right, thanks Farkle." he said
"No problem man, now let's go find the girls and tell them we're coming, if u really don't want it to be obvious." I said
"Ok" Lucas sighed

Maya's POV
Riley and I are talking by our lockers when Farkle and Lucas approach us. I'm still kinda wondering about what happened earlier, but maybe I should just let it go.
"Hey guys, Lucas and I would love to come" Farkle said
"Really?" Riley said excitedly
"Really?" I asked shocked
"Yay! I can't wait for u guys to meet him!" Riley squealed happily as she shut her locker
"️Yay me too!" Lucas said sounding kinda sarcastic
"Lucas" I said
"What" Lucas said
"Was that sarcasm?" I asked
"No" he said looking down
"Well it sounded like sarcasm" I said stepping close to him
"Well it wasn't" he said stepping closer to me
We are so close to each other. Riley and Farkle just stand there. Farkle is smiling. Why?
"I'm pretty sure it was sarcasm"i said
"And I'm pretty sure it wasn't" he said
"Was too" I said
"Was not"

"Farkle break them up" riley said
"No I think Lucas is enjoying himself" Farkle said
I stepped away from Lucas and turned to Farkle. He looks like just said something that he should not have said.
"Why would he being enjoying himself Farkle?" I asked
"Yea why?" Riley asked
"Farkle, don't say it" Lucas begged
What? What were they not telling Riley and I? I thought we were all best friends.
"Don't say what?" Riley asked
"Yea what? What are u guys not telling ur two best friends!" I yelled
"Maya-" Farkle said
"No. Don't tell us. I thought we were supposed to tell each other everything. Let's go Riley." I said
"Right behind u" Riley said upset
We both walked to her house and watched a movie marathon. Riley went up to bed early but I fell asleep on the couch texting Garret. What a long day.
