Maya's POV
I woke up on Riley's couch. My back isn't sore though, I've gotten used to sleeping on their couch. I'll occasionally fall asleep on their couch whenever I come over. I got off of the couch when I heard a knock at the door. It's 7am. Why is anyone here?
I opened the door to see Lucas and Farkle standing there. I'm still kinda mad at them, but I know it won't last long anyway.
"Maya, we're sorry." Lucas said
"Yea, we hate having u guys mad at us." Farkle said
I sighed and looked at my best friends.
"I forgive u guys, I know Riley will too, she just isn't up yet." I said letting them in
As if on que, Riley entered the room.
"Oh, what are u TWO doing here?" Riley said trying to sound upset
"It's ok Riley, we can forgive them now." I said
"Really? Yay! I hated being mad at u guys." Riley cheered
"We hated having u mad at us." Lucas said
"So when does your uncle Joshua get here?" Farkle asked sitting on the couch
"I dunno, sometime this morning I think." Riley said
"Cool." Farkle said
"I know! I'm so excited! I bet Maya is too." Riley said
"Riles, I have a BOYFRIEND." I said
When I said that I could've sworn I saw Lucas clench his fists a little.
"Yea but, u know he's still gonna flirt with u." Riley said
"Riley, can't u just tell him I have a boyfriend." I whined
"Nope. U do it." Riley said
"Farkle?" I asked
"Maya, u know I love u but, no." Farkle said
"Lucas?" I asked
Lucas's POV
"Lucas?" Maya said
"What? I was on my phone." I said
"Can u tell Joshua that I have a boyfriend?" Maya asked
Wait what? Maya wants me to tell a guy that she has a boyfriend? Why? I wish I was her boyfriend.
"No thanks." I said
"Please cowboy." Maya begged
"Maya I really don't want to." I said
"I have an idea." Riley said
"What?" Maya asked
"U just tell Garret to come over so that Josh can see u have a boyfriend." Riley said
"That's perfect!" Maya cheered
"Yea that's perfect." I said sarcastically
"See, sarcasm." Maya said
"Not sarcasm." I lied
"Really?" Maya asked coming closer to me
"Really." I said
"Ok cowboy, I believe u." Maya said sitting down
She probably didn't want to start to same thing we had yesterday, but honestly, I did.

Maya's POV
We were watching TV, when I got a text. I looked down at my phone as I read it and slumped down into the couch.
"Ugh!!!!" I whined
"What's up?" Lucas asked
"Look." I said showing him my phone
From: Garret❤️- sorry babe I can't make it to Riley's tonight. I love you.
I could've sworn when Lucas read the bottom of the text, he tensed up a little. WIERD, right?
Lucas handed me back my phone and I looked at Riley.
"What did he do this time?" Riley asked
"He can't come! He always CAN'T COME!" I said upset
Riley was the only person I told that Garret and I barely spend any time together anymore. I mean, we are still dating, but we never spend time together.
"Awww, Maya. It's ok." Riley said coming over to hug me
"I have and idea!" Farkle said
"Don't you always.." I said as Riley and Lucas laughed
"Haha, but seriously, this ones a good one." Farkle said smiling at Lucas
What was that about?
Lucas's POV
"Ok then, tell us your idea, Farkle." Riley said
Farkle looked at me. I know that look. Uh oh.
"LUCAS will pretend to be Maya's boyfriend! Boom! I am Farkle!" Farkle said as he did his weird Farkle thing
I looked at Maya and she looked at me.
"That's, actually, a really good idea Farkle!" Riley cheered
"And why are you surprised?" Farkle said
Riley and Maya laughed and Maya turned to me.
"Will you do it?" She asked me
I was shocked. Why does she want me to pretend to be her boyfriend? Oh well.
"Yeah, I mean I guess." I said scratching the back of my head
I looked at the smile one Maya's face and it made me want to melt. I hope we are doing the right thing here.
