God's vision envelopes all creation,
No dust in the stars, no bubble under the ocean,
No ink dots of a book nor a leaf in the green horizon,
escape His vision.
So every kindness and sin
made under the sun, in broad
daylight, with a thousand eyes watchin',
every kindness and sin
made in the dark, in between alleyways,
with no witness other than the howling wind,
will be counted and accounted for.

You will be responsible for every lie and every truth.
Every broken heart and every knocked-out tooth.
Every cigarette out the window, every dead flower.
Every wasted love, and every new one that flowers.
You will be responsible
for your life and the stories
you tell.
You will be responsible
for your choice of heaven
or hell.
