Competition Day

Lia woke up, still feeling sleepy but she needed to get up whether she likes it or not for her competition.

She went downstairs and saw her brother sunghoon, who also just woked up, also feeling sleepy.

"It's today" sunghoon told her, as she looked at her brother and gave her a small smile. She was nervous, really nervous. She didn't want to talk about or get reminded of the competition.

Although she already knew the event was today, she just wanted to keep it to herself.

She prepared a bowl, milk, glass of water and a strawberry cereal. She was being quiet the whole time which made sunghoon curious.

"Are you okay, Lia?" He asked, Lia looked up to him, figuring it out if she would tell her brother that she was nervous.

She felt safe, "I'm nervous, super nervous." Lia told her, looking down at her cereal and breathing heavily. "Lia, it's okay to be nervous."
He told her sister who looked at her.

"How about, when you perform, only look at me so you won't be nervous, or at least it'll calm you down a bit? Or, pretend it's only you, close your eyes and don't mind them." He told her sister.

After what my brother advised me, I was a bit relaxed now. But it still bothered me how I will perform later Infront of many people who heard my past experience.

The least I could do is take my brother's advice and perform. It was my decision to join after all.

I have no choice, I can do this.

I can do this right?

The two finished their own daily routines and went to school, not wearing uniforms but casual attires. Lia was wearing a renaissance painting like gown with her straight hair at her back and wearing her dangling earrings.

They arrived at school, knowing that rumours and news spread faster than fire, people looked at Lia and began to whisper, knowing her past.

Is she really going to join? For real?
Did she forget about her past?
What if she's going to get sliced in her neck again?
I bet she's going to lose.
Is she joining for fame only?

That was all Lia could hear as she walk through the school halls. Looking and feeling down she heard her best friend call her which made her strength immediately go up. (Beztiez 4 life)

"Lia! You look so pretty today!" Sungkyung said as she hugged Lia tightly. "Why the sad face? What's wrong? Is it about the rumours they're talking about again?!" Sungkyung told her.

Sungkyung felt annoyed, when are they ever going to leave her bestie alone?

She glared at the people whispering behind them. She couldn't control it anymore and knowing that they both don't want that big attention she shouted at the top of her lungs, "STOP STARING AT US IDIOTS! STOP MAKING IT OBVIOUS THAT YOU'RE JEALOUS AND NERVOUS THAT LIA AND ME ARE JOINING THE FREAKING COMPETITION AGAIN!"

Lia looked at her and held her, she was shocked at her best friend's actions. I mean, she knew sungkyung doesn't want a literally big attention, she knew she would be easily annoyed but didn't expect that kind of Action from her anyways.

"Let's go sungkyung, don't mind them!" She held her bestie's arm and went to their waiting room.

Walking down the halls, she wasn't expecting to pass by someone who she's trying to forget.
