Upon the hills, again.

If Monday approaches that fast, sometimes Saturdays too. Once again, their parents decided to let their children hang out with their grandparents since Lia and Sunghoon insisted.

"I can't wait to see grandma and grandpa again!" Lia excitedly told her brother as her brother continued to pack his things.

"Why do you seem so down?" She asked as he sat down next to him, patting his back. "Nothing." He replied.

He did seem very down, he loved their grandparent's place and was very excited to go there whenever he hears their parents planning.

"Are you sure? I may not be your age but I'm sure I can help!" She reassured her brother. "It's okay lia, really," he said, painting a small smile on his face.

"If you say so, but I'm always here if you need me." She said, her brother smiled at her and then Lia left him to give him space.

She then had an idea to know what's the reason behind her brother's frown face.

"Jake? Can I talk to you for a minute?" Lia told him, Jake on the other line agreed. "Thank you, meet me at the cafe," she said as she ended the call, running fast to the destination they both agreed to meet up.

Arriving, she saw Jake who also just arrived waiting for her. "Thank goodness you agreed!" she said. "Why is it an emergency?" he asked. "Kinda, do you know why my brother is kinda down these days?" she asked.

"I don't know if I'm right, but to my senses, he asked a girl out and the girl agreed but he found out he just got tricked." what Jake was saying made Lia's blood boil.

Clenching her fists, she unknowingly beat the table, gaining everyone's attention at the cafe. "Do you know her? The girl?" she asked.

"Well, yeah. She's kinda known." He said, "Tell me. Every detail you know." she stated, glaring at him which made Jake feel chills.

"Wendy Jones." He said.

Wendy Jones? The one who sliced her throat?
She thought this was unexpected. Well, of course, her brother didn't know some of her other past events.

"Thank you, you've been a great help, Jake." She said, "Yeah, anytime." he said sipping his tea.

"Uh, Lia?" he said making the girl look at him. "Yeah?" she said. "I want to tell you something, but please don't get shocked or something," he said placing down his tea.

"You're making me nervous." she said, also placing her coffee. "You know sungkyung and I are dating right?" he said.

Raising her eyebrows, she became suspicious. "Don't tell me you broke her heart!" she said, standing up. "Geez, chill. I didn't. And can you sit down? You're clearly gathering everyone's attention." He said.

"What is it then?" she asked, crossing her arms. "Before we dated....

I liked you." he said.

Her eyes widened due to the sudden confession, but she knew he didn't love her anymore since he's already dating sungkyung.

"You...liked me before?" she said, pointing at him. "I did, but it was at the past, I don't now." he said. "Since when?" she asked.

"Remember the trip to Japan?" he asked as the girl nodded, "Since that day." he said making her more shocked.

All those days, wondering if Jake likes her back, she only got the answer now. "Were you perhaps, planning on confessing to me?" she asked, the boy chuckled. "I was." he replied.
