The Story of a Scavenger and a Dragon

Chapter 3

,, Whats wrong?! Artii?! '' - He sat next to his sister.
,, I dont feel good.. '' - she woke up. Her eyes were straightly different than before.
Artichoke looked around. Everything was blurry.
Then she looked at her hands...
Wasnt that blood? But if it was, it would hurt. Instead of it she felt something strange inside her bones. She looked nervously at West, and it was visible that he was stressed too.
,, Whats happening? '' - he said in half-tone.
Artii sobbed. The pain started...
She blinked several times and ooked at her hands, but instead of her hands she saw paws covered by scales.
,, ARTICHOKE?! '' - West screamed. She only heard it in high-pitched voice. She could guess West is talking to her, but she only heard loud squeaks. Then she realised she is really a DRAGON.
She stepped from paw-to-paw, trying to keep her wings close to her body. West was scared and confused at the same moment. She only repeated; how to turn back?, how to turn back?, I dont want to be a dragon forever! Help me please! Hello?

He stepped back and sat by the wall, covering his face by arms. He heard only roars and weird dragon-like noises. He couldnt imagine his loved little sister to be like this. He opened his eyes and saw Artii's muzzle in front of him. He yelled and ran away from the house. He fell hitting a liana once. He hide behind a rock and took the sword from his pouch...

She trotted out, yelling: West?! West, please! Where are you?!
She was about to cry, until she smelled something odd. She turned and stepped back as she almost walked on her brother.

He swinged his sword and screamed.
,, GIVE ME BACK MY SISTER YOU MONSTER! '' - he swinged his sword once more again with anger and made Artichoke a big wound on her neck. He threw his sword next to his sister and ran away, jumping from a rock.

She roared in pain, half-bowing. She looked up. No one was around, and she really wanted to be herself. She wanted to run after her brother, but she knew that its a bad idea.
,, If i wont do this, then nobody will. '' - she said to herself, confidently stepping forward. She carefully placed first steps, but then she knew how to walk and she ran, surprised how fast can dragons actually run.
She bounced off a rainforest tree and followed the scavenger scent. Soon she saw her brother sitting and feeding some monkeys. She runned towards West and picked him up on her back.

He screamed, but quickly stopped, as the dragon was running very fast. 
Then he smiled, realising it was really his sister. Because, what dragon wouldnt eat him? 
He hugged Artii and took some mangoes from him pouch.

She smiled too. She didnt realise she was so close to the cliff. She stopped smiling nd panicked, trying to stop herself as she almost fell down. Nothing helped, as she stepped on a slippery rock and rolled down. She spreaded her wings, screaming.
