You finished your scratch very quickly. With contentment you closed the book. Quickly sitting up and pulling out your phone.

There were two new messages. You looked through realising it was just your mom.

Ever since you left you old friends didn't talk to you. Even your bestest friend didn't even want to talk to you. You wished you didn't have to go to this new school. But now you found yourself interested in your father.

You looked through the text.

"Hey son."

"How are you doing?"

"It's only been a few minutes."

You texted back with an I'm fine. Don't worry. You'd probably get hell for that but you wanted to see your father again.

You tossed your phone onto the bed. Quickly getting up and walking downstairs. On the way you examined each relic and artifact.

When you stopped to look at a shawl. Crimson in color it floated gently within it's glass case. It had a pattern similar to the cloak your father wore. It was more exotic in design though.

Held together by a golden piece that clipped onto the top of the shawl. Holding the bottom together.

"That is called the shawl of flight. Once wielded by a sorcerer supreme named Kushala."

"Who?"

"She was a sorcerer supreme. Born from Native America. She was possessed by a spirit to stop her capture by colonists."

"I see, well she chose a name that rolls off the tongue."

He chuckled looking around the room.

"All of these relics have names like that. Like this."

He walked over to a glass case that held inside a large levitating stone.

"This is the Stone of Genghis. A stone that was cursed by the aged Genghis. It is said that deep within is an ancient power source that kept Genghis alive for so long."

"Wow."

"Or this one."

You both quickly teleported into a different room. You were shooketh. Almost falling back. He walked over to two large hands jutting out of a vase. Their hands held onto each other.

"These are the Hands of the Dead. They peer into time itself."

You examined the golden hands. Realising you saw some sort of golden aura.

Your father noticed this. Finding your eyes to be glowing a gentle orange.

"Hey let's go eat. I forgot to introduce you to my friend."

"Oh yeah sure."

You pulled away from the hands. Looking over to your father. You both suddenly appeared on the first floor.

You were again shooketh. Grabbing onto the counter next to you.

"Sorry about that."

In the kitchen it was just as magical. Pans were floating all over with food ingredients all over too. At the kitchen was a bulky man. Cooking away.

"Y/N this is Wong. My friend and current housemate."

Wong turned around and looked over to you. He pulled away from the stove. As they continued to move on their own.

"Good to meet you."

"Feeling's genuine. What're you cooking?"

"Simple recipe just Stir Fry."
