"Where is he?" You questioned looking down to your broken watch.

It's glass face was shattered but still it ticked. A gift from your father from a young age. A bit cheap considering that he so many other watches.

You let out a great groan before falling onto your butt.

"I really wish I had magic now." You stated much to the delight of the ears your father placed all over the Sanctum.

Until now you were somewhat capable of bypassing these spells. But the Sorcerer Supreme always has a way to look at your magic usage.

Where the hell was Peter?

He said he'd at least get here by 8. It was god damn 9. The Dance likely started. Then the game should be going on by now. You sighed leaning yourself back. Laying down on the Sanctum floor.

You rotated your sling ring in your hand. Feeling the innate carvings within the metal. You pulled the ring on and held it out in front of you. With a spinning movement you tried to form a portal. Which of course came to no avail.

You slumped down before preparing to just spend your evening binge watching American Horror Story or something. Damn Coven sounds about good right now.

You pulled yourself from the ground and began to walk over to the stairs. After one step on the first step. The door was knocked upon. Hearing this your head turned back to the door.

Above the Sanctum floor a portal formed. Your face dropped before you turned back to lean against the staircase railing. Peter fell to the floor on his back. He had his arms wrapped around something.

He groaned before he rose up. He looked around before focusing on you.

"Y/N! I'm sorry I'm late I-" Just before he said those last words he was thrown across the room being thrusted into the wall.

From the floor above floated your father. His eyes focused on Peter. His cape flared Strange glided down landing on the ground floor.

"Oh keep going don't let me stop you." Strange commanded making the Sanctum shake slightly.

"Mr. Strange I'm sorry I'm late my aunt's car was having problems and I tried to hurry here as fast as I could." Peter said causing you to walk forward.

"Dad you can let him down." You said which caused him to nod before releasing Peter to fall to his feet.

With a sigh you walked over to Peter. He dusted himself off before looking to you with a guilty smile. You frowned before reaching your hand up to Peter's face. Your hand cradled his face gently. Until you pulled your hand back and smacked him across the face.

He groaned catching himself with his foot. You sighed contented before moving over to help Peter.

"You are forgiven for now. Next time though. I will do a whole lot worst." You said before smiling.

Peter nodded rubbing the side of his face.

"That's agreeable." He said before he sighed and looked back to you.

"Oh yeah um I got this. May said this is important thing for homecomings." He said lifting up a plastic box that had a corsage in it.

You smiled before taking the box from his hands. You opened it and looked inside of it. A smile stretched it's way across your face.

"A marigold.. How did you know?" You questioned which caused a spark of excitement to light up in Peter.

"Well I'm remember that time I came here. And I'm your dad and all that happened?"

"Yes?"

"Well I saw you were growing them out on the roof." He said causing you to giggle quietly.

Peter smiled at this before he pulled the marigold from it's box.

"May I put it on you?" He questioned which had you nod your head.

He nodded before he would go ahead and attach it to the collar of your vest.

"You look good.. Sorry I forgot to say that before." He said pulling back with a smile.

Indeed you were dressed with the colors of simplicity of the grey scale. Black paints, a grey vest, a simple white button up shirt and a black tie. You looked to the marigold with a smile.

"Thanks. You look good too." Granted Peter was rocking the normal everyday suit he looked cute in it.

"Not to break up this cutesy exchange. But you don't have a way of getting there do you?" Your father ask indeed breaking up the moment you two were getting to.

You frowned looking to him as Peter laughed with guilt before putting his hand behind his neck.

"Yeah sorry Mr. Strange. Except for my web shooters I really don't have anything else." He said with the honesty making Strange chuckle.

"Well we aren't there yet with my trust so I'll cut you kids some slack." Strange lifted his hand up into the air.

Within moments he began circling his hands forming the sparkling portal that stood in front of both you and Peter. Strange dropped his hands before walking over to the both of you.

"Before I let you through please note that I expect my son back by 11. By that I mean by 9 go out to some diner and eat. By 10 start bringing him back. Do not try to do any funny business or I will hunt you down and ensure you never see this dimension ever again." Strange said before smiling.

"Now you too have fun and Y/N be careful. I don't want you to get into trouble without any protection." He said before placing his two hands on both their shoulders.

He smiled before he walked off you both looked to each other before you both laughed at it. You looked to Peter with a confident smile. He met your smile with a smile that you'd label as unconfident.

With a raising of your hand and a tap on his forehead.

"And like that all your troubles are behind you." He said which had Peter only frown.

"Peter don't think about it. Let all your troubles go." You said before reaching down to grab his hand.

Peter felt that and smiled. His hand interlocked with your own. Both your hands cradled each other before you looked to Peter with a smile. Slowly his smile began to match yours.

When he matched your wavelength.

"Ready?"

"Ready."
