Picture above is Callum!
—————————
Callum's POV:I soar through the bright blue sky, glancing at the city below. My wings fluttering softly as I land on the roof of a nearby building. I sit on the edge looking out at the beautiful landscape, the towering skyscrapers looming over the seemingly microscopic people below.
"Wow... the city is bigger than I last remembered. It's been a while..." I sigh, having missed my home. "That training really wrecked havoc on my body," I say, stretching out. I suddenly heard a loud boom coming from one of the shops down below me. I sighed, getting up. "You can't give me a break, can you Lycus?"
I swoop down, seeing what's causing all of the commotion. In the middle of a small crater is my old "friend" Lycus. I groan, glaring holes into him. "I just got back, and you're already doing this? You're tiring!" Lycus chuckles, giving me his signature sideways smile. "I missed you too."
I roll my eyes. "What did you do this time?" Lycus grins cynically and says, "Oh, I was just welcoming you back, darling!" I feel my face heating up at his comment.
"You know I'm the one who has to clean this mess up, right?" I ask, feeling a tad bit annoyed. "Yep! That's exactly why I did it. It's my little welcome home gift," Lycus says, chuckling.
I growl at his antics. Why does he always do this to me? I walk towards him slowly, trying not to seem suspicious. He continues on talking, seemingly not paying attention to what I'm doing.
I lunge towards him, thinking I had the upper hand. He quickly grabs my hand, pinning me close to the ground. I yelp, my face rubbing against the rough concrete. "Oh, Dove, haven't you learned anything," He asks, a smirk playing on his lips.
Lycus plucks one of my feathers, gently rubbing it in his hand. "Snow white... just like I remember," he says, looking back at me. I whimper at the pain, blood trickling down my face.
He wipes the blood off, gently running his hand back through my hair. He suddenly grabs it roughly, pulling my head towards his face. "You really shouldn't have tried to attack me, Dove. That was a stupid move, even for you," he says, glaring.
I laugh through the pain. "Yeah... I guess it was, wasn't it," I say, wincing a bit. He chuckles darkly, letting go of my hair. My head falls back to the concrete, making me let out a groan of surprise.I quickly use my wings to push him back, throwing him a few feet away. He thuds to the ground as I stand shakily to my feet. I feel an old wound opening up, blood trickling out. I sigh quietly, carefully flying up into the air.
