Callum's POV

  I remove myself from Darwin, not liking the awkward contact anymore. Darwin looks at me quizzically. I smile slightly, hearing my hero name being called out. "Dove! We need you over here," someone yells as I walk over, waving goodbye to Darwin.

   It was my boss, Mr. Johnson. He had a very stern look on his face, making me feel uncomfortable. "Yes sir," I ask, mumbling. "I need you to do some reconnaissance work. We need this traitor tracked down and punished," he says, almost yelling.

   I sigh quietly. I'm always stuck doing this kind of work. I nod quickly, responding, "Yes sir. I'm on it." I walk around the scene, gathering information about the incident.

   Soon enough, I feel a pair of eyes staring into me. I look around to find where it's coming from, only to not find anyone. "Hm... that's strange," I mumble, going back to what I was doing. The feeling of being watched didn't go away until Mr. Johnson said I could go home for the day.

   The next day I get up early, putting on some random jeans and an old hoodie. The one good thing about doing reconnaissance is being able to wear normal clothes. It gets annoying wearing spandex all day.

   I head to my kitchen, pouring myself a bowl of cereal. I eat, turning on the television. The incident from yesterday is all over the news, being the main headline. I sigh, switching the channels.

    After I finish eating, I get my car keys and head out of the door. Before my door opens completely, I see Darwin standing in the door frame, smiling. "Morning Callum," he says, making me jump in surprise. "What have I told you about telling me before you show up at my apartment," I pout, regaining my composure.

   He laughs, making me pout even more. "It's not funny!" He pats my head, still laughing. "It is! You're too cute," he says, making me blush slightly. "Oh shut it," I say, looking at my feet.

   Darwin huffs. "Don't be that way," he says poking my arm. I look up again, a tint of red still on my face. This makes Darwin smile. "There you are," he says, pinching my cheek. "Stop that," I whine, smacking his hand away.

   "Alright, alright," he says, putting his hands on his pockets. "Boss told me to come help you today," he says. "Great, this is just what I needed..," I mumble. "Hm? What was that," he asks. "Nothing...! It's nothing," I smile, hoping to distract him.

   "Hm... fine," he says, making me sigh in relief. "Let's go then," I say, walking past him. He nods, following behind me. I walk to the parking lot, opening my car. "What are you waiting for? Get in," I say to Darwin. He shakes his head. "No, I'll drive." I sigh again. "Fine... but just this once!"

   He smiles, opening the passenger side door. "Get in," he says as I get in, buckling up. He shuts the door, getting in on the other side. He starts the car, driving to our first location.
