Chapter 5: The Dance (Part 3)

"This is my jam" Wally said as a pop song started playing, he began to dance in a way that could only be described as idiotic and Artemis couldn't help but laugh. "You're a horrible dancer" she laughed

"We already established that," he said "now come on dance"

She was reluctant and began to dance, laughing as they went, but that all stopped when they were interrupted by Dick's voice in their heads.

"We found Stone" Dick said

"Where?" Artemis asked

"The tall boy that asked Barbra to dance" Dick answered "that was him"

"What do we do?" M'gann asked

"Right now, nothing, I do have an idea of how we can get closer to him," Dick said "keep your cover, but keep an eye on Stone"

"So what do we do?" Wally asked Artemis

"We dance Baywatch" she smirked

"I can manage that," he smiled, kissing her cheek.
"You missed," she said

"Missed?"

She kissed him on the lips and smirked

"Ohhh I missed" he grinned

As Dick danced with Barbra and Zatanna danced with James the other's danced with their dates. While Zatanna and Dick put their plan into action.

"Do I know you?" James asked Zatanna

"Probably not, I don't go here, just wanted a dance" she answered, "I'm Zatanna"

He smiled "It's nice to meet you, but I kinda wanted to dance with Barbra"

"dlot eb hturt" Zatanna commanded

"The Injustice League needs her to complete their plan," James said blankly, "I'm supposed to kidnap her and take her to the Injustice League, where they will use her as leverage"

Zatanna expression changed to horror as she let go of James

"What do they want with her?" Zatanna asked

"I don't know. I'm just the apprentice" James said, and after these words, he seemed to snap out of his trance "What just happened, how did you..." James said shocked but Zatanna cut him off.

"nettgrof eb lliw noitasrevnoc siht" She stated

His expression changed from shocked to his normal nervous self.

"What were we talking about?" he asked

"How I have to go," Zatanna said quickly, "thank you for the dance," she said racing away to find Dick.

"There you are" Zatanna painted as she found Dick dancing with Barbra

"How was the dance," Barbra said before Dick could respond

"I would've chosen a different partner" Zatanna answered Smirking

"I'm out," Barbra said letting go of Dick "you two lovebirds are disgusting"

"No, stay," Zatanna said

"And be a third wheel to you two lovebirds, no thanks," she said "I'd rather dance with James again" and with that, she turned on her heel and disappeared into the crowd
