Young Justice: The Dance

Chapter 4: The Dance (part 2)

Authors Note: Hey Guys! Another update, it's super short through but the next chapter will be out soon. I don't own Young Justice or the characters. Enjoy!

"Hey," James said, walking over to Dick, Zatanna, and Barbra.

"James, hi," Barbra said

"Do you want to dance again?" he asked

"Actually..." Barbra started 

Zatanna looked a Dick and nodded almost sad "I was wondering if I could have a dance" she said turning her attention to James

"Uhh... sure one dance" he hesitated

"Thank you" Barbra whispered in Zatanna's ear, as James lead her away

"I don't know if I could take any more dancing," Barbra told Dick

Before she could react Dick grabbed her hand and dragged her further onto the dance floor a little away from Zee and James.

"What did I just say?" she said as Dick started dancing with her

"Oh come on, you don't want to dance with me. I'm an amazing dancer" he said glancing between Zatanna and James dancing, and Barbra.

"Your an acrobat" Barbra clarified giving into the dancing

"I do both" Dick answered "besides this is payback for interrupting Zee and I"

"Aww you even have a cute nickname for her," Barbra said "and I was just getting you back for making my dance with him" she gestured her head towards James

"Payback couldn't have held back a couple of seconds" he quizzed, raising an eyebrow still looking at Zatanna

"Stop staring at her" Barbra snapped

"She's my date!"

"She's dancing with someone else"

"Fine," he said turning his attention to Barbra

"Now tell me." Barbra smirked "is Dick Grayson in love?"

"What?" Dick said shocked by the sudden question, a very slight pinkening to his cheeks

"You are!" Barbra said excitedly

"No. What. I don't know" He rambled, his pink cheeks turning a darker red

"You are so in love"

"Don't make me pull Zee away from James"

"Fine. I'm done" she said defensively

There was a moment of silence

"I might be in love with Zee" he sighed

Barbra smirked "I know it"

"Now drop it" he commanded

And she obeyed as they swayed in silence but what Barbra didn't know was that multiply voices were crossing through Dick's mind, as his team figured out what to do after Zatanna got the information out of James that they needed. She had a very good way of getting people to tell her things, although some might say it's backward.

I guess you're just going to have to wait for the next chapter to find out what James Stone is planning, or should I say the Injustice League. Stay whelmed and feel the aster. Bye!
