Chapter 3: The Dance (part 1)

I don't own Young Justice, the cover, the characters, blah blah I don't own any of this, you know how it goes. Anyway, they are finally going to the dance at Gotham Acadamy, and what will happen? The Girls

"I hate dresses" Artemis mumbled tugging on her dark green sparkly dress flowing to her knees to match her black short heels and leather jacket,

"Stop tugging on your dress, your going to rip it," Zatanna said from behind Artemis as she fixed up her hair

"At least then maybe I wouldn't have to wear it," Artemis said tugging harder

"Come on Artemis you look great," M'gann smiled as she put gold earrings in to match her thin-strapped red dress with lace flowing from the skirt coming from her gold belt which matched her gold flats

"All done," Zatanna said, revealing Artemis with her blonde hair waved into a half up half down.

"Wally is going to die when he sees you!" M'gann squealed

"Superboy's going to be just as shocked M'gann" Zatanna added wearing her light violet high low sparkly dress

M'gann blushed, having already changed from green to caucasian skin color.

"What about Dick he might just be surprised, something only you can do. Surprise him" Artemis smirked

"Maybe" Zatanna smiled her cheeks turning every so slightly pink

Now to the boys

"For the last time you have to wear a suit and tie, it's mandatory," Dick said holding out a black suit and red tie for superboy to put on

"No" Superboy growled

"I'm not thrilled about it either" Wally quipped "but you have to" he added from behind the safety of Dick.

"NO!" Superboy shouted

"Hard way it is," Dick said ripping the black S shirt of Conner "Wally now!" he cried throwing the black suit and tie to Wally who grabbed them, raced over to Superboy, and in seconds had Superboy dressed in a full slick black suit with a red tie which was in a bow.

"Seriously Wally" Dick said glancing at the tie

"Yeah, I have no idea how to tie a tie, you had to tie mine remember," Wally said pointing towards his dark green tie.

Dick walked over to Superboy and retired his tie correctly despite Conner's attempts to stop him. They pushed Conner to the full-length mirror located in his room as Mount Justice where the team was getting ready for their mission.

"Now don't we look handsome" Wally said staring in the mirror at the trio

Superboy growled

"Relax, it won't be that bad" Dick encouraged

"Think about it this way, you'll most likely get to fight some horrible villain," Wally said

Superboy grunted again but this time, not a strong, beating up some villain definitely raised his spirits.

"Time to put this mission in action," Dick said glancing at his watch

The three boys headed out of Superboys small room and to the Zata tubes where they waited for their dates and the second debriefing for their mission. Superboy kept tugging on his tie and eventually pulled it off, causing Wally and Dick to struggle to get it back on him, Wally whipped the tie around his head and Dick quickly tried to tie it but Superboy just picked him up and Wally gave his best attempt to tie it but Superboy stopped him by picking him up and letting go of Dick who quickly tied his tie again, while they struggled they didn't see Artemis, M'gann, and Zatanna coming from M'gann's room. The girls watched as Wally and Dick struggled to get Superboy in his tie, and they couldn't help but laugh when Superboy picked both of them up like rag dolls, their laughing caught the struggling boys and Superboy. Conner dropped Dick and Wally who whipped around to find their dates, and they were in utter shock.
