ASHTON: There was a knock on your door late the night you left the voice message to your boyfriend. Curious as to who was knocking, you shuffled down the stairs to your front door and saw your best friend, Ashton. "What are you doing here?" You asked, trying to keep your voice level.

"You, uh, left a pretty nasty voicemail in my inbox that I'm pretty sure you meant for your--now most likely ex--boyfriend."

"I left the message on your phone?" You asked, embarrassed and humiliated. Your cheeks flushed red.

"Yeah, but that was probably a good thing. You can call him another time and not say anything you might regret," Ash said, pulling you into a tight hug. Unintentionally, you started sobbing and Ash traced his fingers over your spine. "I don't want to rush you into anything, but maybe now you can open your eyes to see someone who always loved you and has always been right in front of you."

"That tree in my front yard?" You giggle slightly, sniffling.

"Hey! My mom calls me human!"

MICHAEL: "Now boarding, Flight 428," the woman over the intercom announced.

You sighed, raising the handle to your rolling carry-on bag and standing up from the plastic bench you sat on. He wasn't coming, and it was time for you to face the facts.

"Y/N!" Someone called, but you didn't recognize anybody and nobody was looking at you. You walked to the terminal opening "Y/N! Don't get on that plane!"

You turned around again, a flaming head of red hair leaping through the crowd of people with a black cape flying behind him. His red and black outfit was hard to miss; Mike-Ro-Wave was here to save your day. "My hair is red, Luke's eyes are blue, but you're so loved and I'm here to save you!"

"Michael?" You giggled as his loving arms scooped you into a hug.

"Shh, Y/N, when I wear the mask, I am Mike-Ro-Wave here to save you from that plane ride home."

"I'm already home."

CALUM: He checked backstage after sound check, looking to see if you'd arrived yet. Nobody had seen you and the security guards didn't see anyone claiming to be his girlfriend; just his wife. Worried, he found his phone and checked his voicemail. It was from you. Your sweet voice, that joking laugh--the collision.

He dropped his phone to the floor and started to panic, Ashton being the first to notice. "Where's Y/N, Calum?"

But he couldn't breathe. If you weren't going to be okay, he didn't want to breathe.

Calum pointed to his phone and Ashton picked it up, listening to the voicemail. He mumbled a strand of curse words and pulled Cal out the back door. "Somehow, delay the show. This is an emergency!" Ashton yelled, voice echoing through the almost-empty stadium. He quickly hailed a taxi--there was an abundance in this city--and rushed to the hospital. You'd just been moved from the E.R.

Ashton and Calum got to your room quickly. You had plenty of cuts from the collision, but were going to be okay. He was crying, holding your hand when you woke up.

"Calum? What are you doing here? You have a show to perform!"

"I got your message and I couldn't focus without knowing you were okay. You can't miss my first stadium headline show."

"And you can't, either. Go, Cal, I'll come to another one," you promise, shooing them back to the venue.

Not but minutes later, your phone vibrated with a video chat call. "Hi, Y/N! The fans have something they would like to say to you," he said into the phone microphone. "JUST LIKE WE REHEARSED," he yelled out to the crowd. On the count of three, Calum leading them: "Feel Better Soon, Y/N!"

LUKE: Your apartment keys rattled as they fell to the floor, slipping from your fingertips so casually. Your hand found the white hall walls and carefully slid down as your body bent to grab them. "Woah, wait, Y/N, let me help you," his voice said, one hand finding the small of your back and the other grasping your keys after jogging down the hallway towards where you stood.

"Luke?" You said, eyes glossing over with tears.

"Hey, princess, there's no need to cry." Luke's hand cupped your chin, the thumb on his other hand rubbing gently under your eyes.

"Sorry, happy tears and pregnancy hormones."

He leaned in, kissing your forehead and opening the door for you. "So, uh, how've you been?"

"They told me the first trimester is the hardest, and I can't wait to be out of it. The morning sickness is horrible, but I have a feeling it'll all be worth is when my baby's here."

"Funny you mention that," he said, hand awkwardly scratching the back of his neck, "I want to be a part of our child's life. We can get through this together, princess, if you let me in. I can't imagine my life if I'm not loving you and our baby."

"I think Baby Hemmo would agree we can take you back," you smiled, taking Luke by surprise with a kiss.
