ASHTON: Tears silently fell from your cheeks as you sat, curled into yourself, on the living room couch. The television was on as background noise--you really could have cared less about the best places to get barbecue according to the food network--but it was loud enough that you didn't hear Ashton come downstairs from y'alls shared bedroom.

He didn't ask questions. He sat crisscross on the couch cushion beside yours and patted his lap. You crawled onto him, still crying and letting him wrap his arms around you.

You laid your head on his chest, nuzzling towards his warmth and listening for his heart beat. He kissed your forehead, humming a tune softly before singing sweetly in the voice you loved: "When salted tears won't dry, I'll wipe my shirtsleeves under your eyes, your eyes, your lips, your mouth, your thighs, your back, you drive me wild..."

"Ash," you finally said.

"Mmhmm?"

"You make everything okay again."

MICHAEL: Sideline seats at a prom that cost you most of your allowance was not how you intended to spend one of the most important final events of your high school senior year. Your date stood you up, but your friends insisted you still go anyways. You couldn't wait for it to end so you could escape the itch of your dress for sweatpants and throw your corkscrew curls up into a messy bun.

"Alright, Promsters, grab a partner because it's your final chance to take. It. Slow," the emcee said, dramatically holding out the last three words.

You sighed, chin resting in your hands before you heard someone awkwardly clear their throat. "Do you, uh, maybe want to dance with me?" Michael Clifford, cleaned up for the first time you'd seen in a nice suit and a crooked collar, asked.

You smiled, taking the hand he offered. He held you close, whispering the lyrics into your ear: "When your legs don't work like they used to before and I can't sweep you off of your feet, will your mouth still remember the taste of my love? Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks?"

CALUM: You'd lost count of how many times you benefited from being 'friends' with Calum. Behind the back of boyfriends who'd never loved you properly and the days between when you didn't want to be alone. It was an okay relationship--or so you thought.

You stood in the kitchen listening to your iPod on shuffle and cooking pasta noodles when there was a knock on your door. You turned off the burner and wiped your hands on a dish towel. Calum stood on the other side.

"Y/N, we need to talk." He took your silence as a green light to continue. "I can't keep being your friend. I mean, I want to, but dammit, I'm in love with you."

"You barely know me outside of the bedroom."

"I can learn."

Ed Sheeran's sweet voice came on as soon as Calum said that. You both leaned in right as the line began: "I'm falling for your eyes but they don't know me yet, and with this feeling I forget, I'm in love now. Kiss me like you want to be loved."

LUKE: The night autumn air nipped at your nose as you stood on your urban balcony. Leaves from the sparse trees danced on the streets by car breezes and you took it all in. Growing up in the suburbs, the city is the only place you wanted to be.

"Y/N?" Luke said, sliding the door open and stepping out behind you. "Aren't you cold?"

"It's a little chilly," you admitted, standing up to give your boyfriend a hug, "but you'll keep me warm, right, babe?"

Luke smiled, holding you as you both danced to the music coming from the bedroom: " London calls me a stranger, a traveller. This is now my home, my home. I'm burning on the back street; stuck here sitting in the backseat."

"Maybe 'Autumn Leaves' would make for a better slow dance song," you giggle, hiding your face in Luke's smiling 'Nirvana' shirt, taking in his scent.

"Where the fun in slow dancing to a song that's meant for slow dancing?" He said, and you gave him a quick kiss before dancing a little while longer.

*Just in case you're not quite sure who had what song, Ash had 'Shirtsleeves', Mikey had 'Thinking Out Loud', Cal had 'Kiss Me', and Luke had 'This City'! :)*
