ASHTON: "Happy mother's day, love," Ashton said, peppering you with kisses to wake you up.
"Ash," you said, smiling before kissing him back, all while your hands found the curve of your stomach where your baby was growing, "I'm not a mom quite yet."
"You might as well be considered one," he chuckled. "You're almost a complete mommy." He pressed a kiss to your belly, then helped you as you struggled to sit up in y'alls king-sized bed. "I wanted to celebrate it for you, anways."
"Thanks baby, but you didn't have to do that."
"Yeah, I know, but I wanted to. I booked out your entire day at the spa so you can relax before we forget what that word even meant! And, because I'm horrible at paining your toe nails and you can no longer reach them, you can get those done, too."
"You're the sweetest," you said. Your eyes began to water and you quickly wiped them away, slightly frustrated with your hormones. They make everything more dramatic than they need to be...
"I'll help you get ready, love, and then you can have the day to pamper yourself." Ashton kissed you, then helped you off the bed. He led you into y'alls closet and you both plucked out a cute pair of flats that matched perfectly with your striped maxi dress. He brushed out your hair for you--something you both loved for the intimacy it brought--and then loaded you into his vehicle.
The drive to the spa wasn't long, but spending the day there was absolutely incredible and relaxing. Ashton was such an amazing guy, and you always wonder how you got so lucky, not knowing that every time he looks at you, he wonders the same thing.
MICHAEL: You awoke to giggles fluttering down the hallway to your bedroom, where you were resting... alone? Your arms stretched out, but Michael wasn't there for you to hold. Slightly disappointed but more curious by the giggles, you slid out of bed and put your slippers on. Grabbing one of Michael's old band tee's from a concert you both saw, you went out into the kitchen.
The island had a scattering of pink cherry blossom petals (probably picked from the tree in your neighbor's yard that morning without the old lady who lived there knowing). On either side of the table were picture frames with an individual shot of your children in each of them, all holding signs. Your oldest held a sign that said (in Michael's handwriting, of course) "I love you because you watch Ninja Turtles with me" and your youngest held one that said "I love you because you and daddy sing me songs before bed".
You called out to your family. "What's all this?" You asked as they gathered into the kitchen.
Michael opened the fridge and pulled out a box of cold pizza, setting it on the table. Meanwhile, your kids called out "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!"
Your eyes started to water and Michael pulled you into a hug. "Happy mother's day, princess. Thanks for giving me two ornery kids and being the love of my life."
"Michael, I love you," you said before pulling away from him and hugging your two kids. "I love you two, too," you said. They both kissed you on the cheek as if it was rehearsed. "And how'd you know cold pizza was my all-time favorite breakfast food?" You giggled.
"Dig in, babe, we got your favorite."
CALUM: You and Calum flew back from his spot on tour to where you grew up to celebrate mother's day with your mom this year. You hadn't seen her in a while, having left home for college studies and to be around Calum.
Riding in the passenger seat of the rental car was a great feeling. You were glad to be away, but there's no denying you missed the smell of the air in the place you'd grown up and loved. You could still trace your finger over the horizon line and remember every spot from each stupid adventure your friend and you got in trouble (or would've). You didn't realize you were smiling until Cal pointed it out to you.
"Ready for a splendid mother's day dinner?" You asked as he parked outside your childhood home. "They always grill steak and make baked potatoes with all the goodies to go on top."
"Let's go for it, babe."
You linked your arm with his, trying your old house key and smiling when it still fit. "Mom?" You called out. "Are you home?" You walked onto the back porch where the grill was. "Happy mother's day to the best mom in the world," you said.
Your mom stood up and hugged you. It had been a while since she felt this much joy. "I missed you so much, Y/Nick/N."
You caught up with your family over the traditional meal. Calum and you exchanged your tour stories for the same stories you'd heard before but your mom never gets tired of telling. Some of them were new to Calum, but most of them had been the family classics.
"I can't wait to tell stories about my child," you confessed to Calum as your parents cleared the table.
"I'd be more than happy to make you a mom," Calum said, winking at you and tracing circles on your skin with his thumb.
LUKE: Once you know of Liz, life not knowing of her is impossible and something you don't want to experience ever again. She was the mother of your world, after all. You and Luke wanted to do something incredible for her even though he was on tour, so you drove from your place to her's by yourself, picking up a bouquet of flowers in her favorite colors and making sure the cake you baked didn't slide off the passenger seat. Your mind was buzzing. Everything was going to to go as planned, you kept reassuring yourself. Everything was going to work out right. You knocked on the door to the Hemmings home, balancing the cake tray in one arm and holding the flowers with your free hand.
Liz opened the door, a happy Molly by her feet. "Oh, Y/N! I wasn't expecting to see you!" She said. "Here, let me help you with that." Liz took the cake tray and lead you to the kitchen. After you both had empty arms, she gave you a hug.
"Happy mother's day, Liz!" You said. "It's not much, the rest of your gift is on the way, but these are for you," you said, gesturing towards the goodies on the kitchen island.
"Aww, Y/N, that's so sweet of you!" You took off the top of your cake tray while Liz glanced around the kitchen. "Andy! Come down here; Y/N's come for a visit!"
He greeted you, listening to Liz enthuse about the gifts you brought her and then looked at you. "Did you note this in a card?" He asked. Liz glared at him, but you just smiled to yourself, glad she was happy over this and how excited you were about the second half of her gift.
Within a few moments, the front door opened and closed. "It must be Ben or Jack," she said, leaving you and Andy in the kitchen to go see who came in. "LEWI!" She cried out, immediately embracing Luke and feeling her eyes water a little bit with happy tears.
"I figured getting Baby Hemmo was better than getting a card," you smirked at Andy, seeing a frazzled but content Luke following his mom into the kitchen to cut the cake and celebrate family.
