Yuika smiled happily as she clapped her hands together, it was currently Friday, unlike her usual Friday's she was going to have a sleepover, her first sleepover ever, and so she was very excited. "Aren't you happy? This is going to be so fun!" The arrangement was for Suki to go home with Yuika after school and she would stay with her until Monday.

"I hope so, it's going to be nice to be with another girl for a few days." She had brought her bag that had her clothes as well as a few other things in it to school. "I've never hosted or been to a sleepover before. The fact that my mom allowed me to go to one  is amazing."

"Really? Well, this is going to be fun for the both of us." Yuika said with a smile.

"It's going to be a little odd without you at home but I'm sure me and Nao can manage."Akira said as he gripped onto his backpack straps.

"Yeah, we will be fine, three days will go by sooner or later, besides Saturday we're going to be helping mom, and Akira has a date with his new girlfriend." He said nonchalantly.

"G-Girlfriend! She is not my girlfriend! We're simply just friends, we only share platonic feelings for each other. If anyone is dating someone it's that you're dating Sora or whatever his name is!" He shoot back, his face a light red signifying the noticeable blush on his face.

Yuika looked at the boys in confusion. "Sora? Wait- Akira you made a friend?" She asked curiously.

"Yup! I met Haru when I was in sewing club. We got to bond over the fact that we enjoy fashion and that she is also the daughter of someone who has the carrier gene. And why are you so surprised that I can make an actual friend! I find that insulting!"

"And I met Sora when he got in the way of me taking imaginary scenery pictures, he refused to move and somehow we managed to talk... well more like me telling him to move and he ended up sitting next to me, then we got to know each other.... after he kept bugging me with questions I finally gave in."

"Wait you told him to move?! Nao that wasn't very nice of you, how are you supposed to make friends like that?!" Akira said as he turned towards his older brother and crossed his arms.

"It wasn't like I was being rude to him. I mean I must be doing something right if he's still friends with me." Nao gave a small shrug.

"Wait- I'm sorry but carrier gene?" Yuika asked as she looked over at Akira since he was the one to mention it.

"Yeah, I can't explain it that well but 20% of the male population has a carrier gene. It was originally a mutation due to scientists being curious if males could carry human life like females can... the experiment soon turned into a mutation that became a recessive gene." He said as he uncrossed his arms. "It turns out that males can carry human life, but not for long since they don't have the proper- um body to do so... which led to an experiment."

"Wow, that's cool. Do girls also have that gene?"

"Mmmm... Kind of but it's called a giver gene. 10% of females have it. It's much rarer than the carrier gene, or perhaps it's not rare... it's probably around the same percentage as males with the carrier gene, the only difference is that it's a little harder for two women to conceive with one another... I think. I'm not all too sure." Nao explained. "...I'm not even sure how that would work.." He muttered to himself.
