Let Me In (COMPLETED)

Chapter Eleven.

"I don't know either." Myst answered while avoiding his gaze. She turned her back and was about to go back when Sunghoon spoke again.


"I've done enough, didn't I?" He said. Myst didn't get it so she remained still. Then he continued. "I've already help you. But why does it feel like you need more than just help?" Myst sighed.


Even she doesn't know why. It irritates her so much. She has a lot of questions in mind but it sucks. It sucks because all of those questions can only be answered by her.


And it sucks knowing that she, herself, doesn't know the answer.


Myst, once again sighed. She faced Sunghoon and smiled bitterly.


"Don't worry. I'll be leaving this world soon. I don't have to bother you anymore." And that's one thing she's certain about. About leaving this world.


She may not be sure about the exact time, exact place, or whatever. But she can feel it. She knows it's near.


She turns and started to walk away, when Sunghoon said something.


"Then I'll make you stay." He said. "I could even give you my blood."


Myst stopped, and was about to face him when he went pass her. And went back to Sunoo's house.


Leaving her there, dumbfounded.

"Hey there, you two." Luna said as they welcome them back. 


Myst got shocked when she saw Sunghoon outside th house, because she thought she already went in.


And when she went inside, he followed her.


Simple gestures but made her heart flutter.


"Hey." Myst said back. She looked at the boys who are having fun at the living room. "How are they?" She asked.


"Good as new, thanks to you." Luna answered. Then, when she remembered what her friend did earlier, she sat near her. "Hey, how could you do that?"


Myst raised an eyebrow at her while she was drinking.


"The healing thing." Myst suddenly stopped drinking.


So how do I explain this... She asked herself. She thought of various explanations but every explanation she thought doesn't even make sense.


She was about to talk when Luna speaks again.


"Tell me when you're ready." And suddenly left her at the kitchen.


Then, someone approached her.


"Hey sister." Jay greeted him as he sat across her.


"Brother." And she chuckled. "How are you?"


"Feeling good, thanks to you." And even winked at her.


"Didn't knew siblings could wink at each other now." Sunghoon commented as he enter the kitchen too and fetch himself a glass of water.


What he said gave Myst a different meaning but Jay took it as a joke.


"Okay then, teach me." Jay said but Sunghoon didn't respond. After drinking, he just left.


Myst just sighed. She got confused once again by his attitude.


Sometimes she makes her feel lik he's ready to protect her, but most of the time she treats her like a stranger.


"I don't get guys." Myst unconsciously blurted out. Jay chuckled.


"Sunghoon is different from guys." And Myst chuckled at his respond.


They continued to chitchat for a few minutes then it was time for them to go home.


"Noona, our school's gate will be open for everyone tomorrow! Wanna come?" Ni-ki said as they went outside.


"Oh yeah, right! You should come, noona!" Jungwon seconded.


Then, everyone looked at her, waiting for her response. But then Jake spoke.


"Silence means yes." And the others cheered, Myst chuckled since she can't do anything now. It's all settled. Though she may admit, she had always wanted to go to their school.


It seems like she haven't gone there.


And she doesn't know why.


As the others enter the van, Myst entered the house. Sunoo and Luna were watching something in the living room and she was about to join them when she heard footsteps from upstairs.


There, she saw Sunghoon. Sunghoon stopped and looked at her. Their gazes at each other continued until his phone rang. It was Jay, telling him to enter the van or they'll leave him there.


"I'm coming." And as he went down, Myst stopped him. She didn't gave him enough chance to speak because she put her hand on his arms which were full of wounds.


And healed him.


After it heals, Myst got awkward so she went upstairs. But as she took one step up, Sunghoon suddenly spoke.


"Good night, Myst. Sweet dreams."
