Let Me In (COMPLETED)

Chapter Eighteen.

"I'm sorry."

She didn't say anything. Sunghoon sighed.

"I'm sorry for everything that I've said."

Myst just looked at him. He can't read what's going on in her mind but he's hoping for one thing. It's to accept his apology.

He, again, held her hand and guided her to the bed. He let her sit there, and he sit beside her. He faced her.

"I'm just.. really not comfortable talking about it. Since it reminded me of my Mom."

"I'm sorry.. I didn't know." Myst suddenly said and Sunghoon felt thankful because she talked.

"I mustered up all my courage." He said but Myst didn't get what he wanted to say. So she raised her eyebrow. "Here." And gave her a notebook. It was big and long.

She opens it and to her surprise, it was full of sketches.

"My paintings are at my house." He said and unconsciously smiled as he observes her reaction at his drawings.

Myst browse all the pages of the book. And she can't help but get amazed at his talent! It's really the best talent one could have!

Then she realized something. She looked at Sunghoon and he was wondering why she is looking at him like that.

"Y-you don't have to show me these.. I'm sorry if I forced you." Sunghoon immediately shook his head.

"No. It's my decision. And I think it's time that I go back to drawing again." Myst smiled widely when she heard it.

"Really? Do the others know? Waaah." She excitedly said and Sunghoon huckled at her cute reaction.

He patted her head.

"Myst."

"Yeah?"

"Will you be my muse?"

"Yehey! Noona's back to her old self again!" The maknae line cheered and Myst pinched their cheeks one by one.

While the hyung line along with Luna are busy with some things, the maknae line and Myst are chitchatting.

They even asked what happened yesterday, Myst said something went wrong but it's all okay now.

Ni-ki suddenly said it was because of Sunghoon and Jungwon and Sunoo teased Myst. Myst can't help but laugh.

She suddenly shared what happened at the room earlier. And they got shocked.

"Really? He showed it to you?" They asked because they can't believe it really happened. Myst smiled at them. "Wow, I envy you, noona. I only saw less than half of it." Sunoo said and pouted.

"Try to be nice, and maybe he'll give it to you too." Myst suggested, and they agreed.

"Nope, never." Sunghoon said as he suddenly joined their conversation. Sunoo rolled his eyes at him.

"Then I'll snatch it while you're sleeping."

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." He smirked. Myst wans to laugh at the two who are arguing, but she can't help but get attracted at him especially when he smirks.

Then, Luna came to the living room along with the others.

They all started to eat, and laughter fills the living room. As they finished eating, Jake's phone suddenly rang.

He went outside, but the others went to the kitchen. Myst was curious so she followed him.

But when she reached outside, Jake already ended the call and looked sad. Myst approached him.

"What's wrong?" Jake sighed.

"Mom's at the hospital again. She's getting weaker day by day." He said sadly, and Myst can't help but get sad too. Then Jake looked at her. "If ever something happens to my Mom.. will you heal her.. for me?"

Although it's shameful to ask for that kind of favor but Jake loves his mother so much. Although he's hoping that it won't really happen, he knows he has to prepare.. but he can't bear to lose her.

Meanwhile, Myst didn't answer immediately. Something that Luna said played in her mind.

"What if when you have to cure something, you need to.. sacrifice your life.. too?"

Jake noticed she was deep in thoughts and felt guilty. He tapped her shoulder and smiled at her.

"I was just joking." And was about to go when Myst spoke.

"Sure. I'll help you."
