MYST'S POV

"What is this?" Mom asked as I put an envelope in front of her.

"Something you need to sign." I simply said. I was about to go out of the kitchen when she called me out.

"You got kicked out?! For what reason?!" She exclaimed, and I just shrugged.

No reason. Well, there is a reason. But it's nothing.

"Look, isn't that good news?" I said as I wrap her in a hug and smiled to assure her. "I can already work! And I can finally help you with our financial problems."

I tried my best not to cry.

No, I can't cry. Not in front of them.

"You're still young." And Mom cups my face as tears fall down. You have to be strong in front of her.

"I can do anything, can't I?" And I smiled once again.

That's right. I'm good in smiling to hide the truth. Keep it up.

"But-"

"Mom. Believe me." And she just looked at me and sighed.

I gave her space, so I went outside the kitchen but I got shocked when I saw my little sister.

"H-hey..."

"What were you talking about?" She innocently asked, but I just smiled at her.

"It was nothing." And I pat her head as I go to my room.

A little while, my sister asked me to go with her and play outside. I wasn't really in the mood, but I don't want to ruin her mood. So I came along.

We went to a mini playground in our place, and I watch her as she have fun with the other kids.
