"levi, what the fuck are you doing?"

upon entering her room, the very view that greeted her was odd to say the least.

lo and behold, there levi was, in the corner of the room. he was on all fours, bottoms up facing her direction as the thin grey shirt rode up a little to his lower back, giving a teasing amount of display of his fair skin.

the said raven haired man turned his neck so he could see sam who was still standing by the doorway, before returning back to whatever he was doing.

"there's a damn tea stain on your floor and it wouldn't come off!" he grumbled, aggressively scrubbing the wooden floor. "damn you, tea stain!"

sam scoffed in disbelief. shaking her head, she closed the door all the way before taking off her jacket, getting ready to lay on the bed whilst her distressed lover was still on the floor, scrubbing like there's no tomorrow. upon closer look, sam realized he has a cleaning spray on his other hand.

"levi, it's just a little stain. leave it," she reasoned. sam has now taken off her jacket and button ups, leaving her in her usual sports bra. she kept her pants on, not really bothered by it.

"how long has this been here?"

she shrugged. "i dont know."

"you're unbelievable." he remarked, annoyance latching in his tone. it amused sam, in all honesty. "and you need to clean your damn book shelf, too! it's covered in dust."

sam chuckled at the sight of her annoyed lover. levi had always been so particular about his hygiene, but what sam didn't realize once they started dating was that in regards to them spending time together in her room, levi was bound to nag her about her slightly messy room.

"will you please leave it? just come to bed."

levi's head snapped in an instant, glaring at her. "only if you promise to clean this yourself later on." he furrowed his eyebrows. "fucking promise me."

sam rolled her eyes. "okay, okay. i promise. just— come to bed, please?"

huffing, levi stood up. he pulled his shirt down which earlier had got lifted up due to his position. he brushed off his knees for any dust particles, who knew when was the last time she sweep and mopped the floor?

ignoring the stare from his lover, levi put his cleaning spray and brush down, he then took off his gloves—which in retrospect, sam wasn't even aware of him wearing. to be fair, she had always underestimate how serious levi can be when it comes to cleaning.

whilst sam was busy staring at him, levi walked towards the opposite direction of the bed, making the impatient lover furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"wait, where are you going? come to bed!"

levi rolled his eyes even though she clearly couldn't see him. "i'm washing my hands first! damn you, impatient brat."

( ... )

sam's bed had become levi's favorite place to be. well, second favorite, perhaps—he was still contemplating whether it tops the tea shop down the street that he visited many of years ago, a place that upon entering, just instantly filled his nostrils with pleasant smells of tea leaves being brewed. alas, that tea shop is not necessarily a place where he can feel like home, unlike sam's room. so maybe sam's bed was his favorite place to be, after all.

sam loved having levi in her bed. it had become a routine for him to stay the night at her room, even her bed sheet began to smell like him—he smells like a whiff of fresh soap, a hint of lotus that just calms her nerves. sam loves his smell, and no matter how often she washes her bed sheet, his scent would rub off on it in no time considering how often he would lay on her bed. he wouldn't sleep, per say—having a romantic partner in a healthy and loving relationship couldn't magically cure his insomnia, but levi enjoyed laying around with her. bodies entangled with each other, sometimes they would lay there for hours in pure silence, just enjoying each other's presence as the sound of their steady breathing filled the room.
