lula's pov

"i, um" noah stutters.

i'm still looking at the floor. louis angrily drops my phone onto the floor. he mutters something and gets up. he takes off his face masks and throws it in the bin. he slides his phone into his back pocket and says "i have to go. i'll see you tomorrow"

he opens the door and slams it shut behind him. millie slowly gets up, "i'm sorry, i should check up with louis. have a great night and let me know the plan in the groupchat for tomorrow."

i get up and hug her goodbye. i close the door after her and see a very embarrassed noah sitting on the bed. "i'm sorry lula but i can't hide my feelings from you anymore. i need to know what you feel. it's okay if you don't feel the same way i-" i cut him off with a kiss.

noah's pov

lula kisses me. i'm shocked at first but eventually i kiss her back. we pull away and lula gently whispers, "i like you too" i smile hard and kiss her again.

we pull away again and i grab her hand and we go over to the balcony. i lift her hand and shout "she likes me back!"

lula laughs at my behaviour. i can't believe she likes me back.

"i thought you liked louis" i say to her with a frown. it hits me, all of her memories she has told me, all the fun things together. she looks into my eyes, "i thought i did but i realised that he is my bestfriend and just my bestfriend. you, on the other hand, are my bestfriend and-" she stops talking. "you can say it" i laugh. she smiles and says gently, "boyfriend". i stare into her beautiful eyes.

"olivia once told me that if i truly loved the first person, i wouldn't fall for the second. i thought about that with you and louis and i realised that i truly liked you noah schnapp. you are who i want."

i pull her in for a hug. she hugs me back tightly, fixing her head into the crook of my neck. i lay my head onto of hers and gently swing side to side. we stay like that, we get lost into this world where there is only us and no one else. no distractions. nothing.

lula's pov
when noah told me about his feelings, i realised that i didn't like louis. olivia told me about falling in love and i realised that it's noah. noah is who i want to be with. we slowly pull away and we stare into each other's eyes. "should we tell the others?" noah says breaking the silence. "i'm okay with telling them.
