Chapter 2

"Hey, Miyamura, do you want some tea?" I asked from the kitchen.

"If it's not a bother!" he replied

"of course it isn't!" I chuckled and went back to making tea.

Me and Miyamura sat down. we started talking and studying. I enjoyed talking to him. I felt like i could be myself in front of him and he understood me pretty well, too. I think, being friends with him, is going to be an amazing experience.

*After a few hours*

"I should get going now. thank you for having me Y/L!" he said as he took his bag and got ready to leave.

"Any time, Miyamura!" I waved goodbye as he left.

The next day.

Tuesday. nothing special but I'm really excited to see Miyamura again! he's a really nice and sweet person to talk to. I don't know why everyone thinks he's just a weird gloomy kid. he's so much more than that.

What time is it hmm- HUUHH?! I'm 10 minutes late! but I swear I got up on time!

I sighed.

Rather than complaining I should get to running! keep in mind that i'm not athletic, AT ALL!

I ran and ran. I was out of breath but I was too late to stop and just then, I bumped into someone. my bag was half open so some of the things fell out.

"I'm so sorry! I should have look-" I was apologising when I looked up and saw Miyamura.

"Miyamura?!"

"Y/L? Are you okay?" he gave me his hand to help me get up.

"Just peachy. Well maybe not. I was late so I started running. I'm so sorry for bumping into you!" I took his hand and got up from the ground.

"No worries! here are your books." Miyamura picked up the books and gave them back to me.

"thank you! why were you going this way anyways? isn't school the other way?"

Suddenly he started laughing. I stared at him in confusion.

"I'm sorry for laughing. i don't mean it in an offensive way but the school is not this way. you took the wrong turn." he explained smiling.

I know he didn't mean any harm and didn't mean to come off as rude but i could still feel my face heating up from embarrassment.

"So...all this running...FOR NOTHING?!" I thought.

"We're both late for the first lesson anyways so do you want go to the school cafeteria and get something drink?"

"Sure!" I said and we started walking to school.

We shortly got drinks after we arrived and made a small talk about school. The bell for the second lesson rang so we started heading to the homeroom.

"Y/L? You missed the first lesson!" Hori said as soon as I walked in.

"Shhh! can't you see she's with Miyamura!" Yuki whispered to Hori.

"Y/L, I want to talk you later. so meet me outside after school." Ishikawa said and he went to his seat.

huh...I wonder what he wants to talk about.

"Ooo look who's Miyamura with! do you feel bad for him Y/L?" some guys came up to us.

"huh?" I didn't understand what they meant...

They laughed. "ah whatever."

"Miyamura? what did they mean by that?" i looked over to him.
