[Two Weeks Later]

[Shoto's P.O.V.]

[Third Person]

—————————————————————————

Shoto's uniform had arrived a few days earlier that week. Today was the first day of school at U.A.

Shoto was unsure of how to present himself so he would be more likely to transfer into the Heroics Course.

[Shinso's P.O.V.]

[Third Person]

Shinso was not having a good day. His cat, Kuro, scratched his eye earlier this morning("It still stings, too."), the coffee shop that he is a regular at is, somehow, out of coffee so he is still quite exhausted, and he didn't get much sleep last night.

Shinso walked into Present Mic's classroom("Why is a yellow Cockatoo my homeroom teacher?") sleepily.

"Goooooooooood Morning Little Listener! I'm your homeroom teacher, Preeeeeeeeeeeeesent Miiiiiiiiic!", Mic screamed with his quirk.

Shinso winced at the overly loud sound but took a seat near the back. After about five minutes the door opened again. It was Raiden.

Shinso smiled but quickly hid it before anyone noticed.(A/N- You're really going for the 'tough/stoic guy' vibe Shinso?)

[Shoto's P.O.V.]

Shoto walked in and was immediately bombarded by Mic's booming voice.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall riiight! Everyone's here! We'll be heading down to the auditorium for introductions in a few! Pick your seat, Little Listener, and I'll put it on the seating chart!"

Shoto nodded and walked over to the seat to the left of Shinso. Mic noted where Shoto decided to sit and rallied the class to go down to the auditorium.

—————————————————————————

[Time skip]

—————————————————————————

The class was in the auditorium along with all the other first years except Class 1-A. Shoto and Shinso were sitting next to one another. There was the sound of people chattering as they were introducing themselves to each other.

Shinso turned to Shoto and said, "Hey, uh. We sorta already know one another but I'm Hitoshi Shinso."

Shoto looked at the purple-haired boy surprised that he remembered. "Oh, I'm Nariko Raiden. Nice to meet you, Shinso. I didn't expect you to remember me to be honest." He responded, ending with an awkward laugh. Shinso chuckled at his response, particularly the ending.

"No worries, Raiden." Shinso started looking around. His gazed appeared to fixate on a tall, dirty-blonde-haired girl from their class. He then looked back at Shoto and asked, "Wanna go introduce ourselves to her?"(A/N- I know that Shinso is ooc in this but I'm going to alter his b.s.(backstory) so that he is more social despite being a victim of quirk discrimination.)

Shoto shrugged. "Sure, why not."

The two boys made their way over to the girl and the person she was talking with.

Shinso cleared his throat. The two immediately looked over at the two boys.

"I'm Hitoshi Shinso, pleasure to make your acquaintance." The two looked at each other then looked back at Shinso and Shoto.

"Tamoko Masa. The pleasure is mine, Shinso.", The tall girl responded, bluntly. She then turned to Shoto, "And you?"

"I'm Nariko Raiden. Nice to meet you, Masa." She narrowed her eyes at him, almost as though she knew that he is lying about his identity.

"I can tell that you're lying about your name. It would be much appreciated if you didn't lie about such things, it makes you suspicious, ya know."

His eyes widened at that. He looked at them nervously, "I-I'm sorry but my name brings back some, ah, nasty memories. I would prefer if everyone referred to me by my chosen name." He wasn't sure if she would except his response or not but he stated it anyways. I suppose her quirk has something to do with telling the truth. No matter, it's not like I'm lying about those memories.

They looked at him sadly. "Sorry to hear that. I'm Moriko Midori by the way." The others nodded at her response.

"It... It's alright.", he laughed nervously, "It's not like it's immediately obvious."

After a while of just generally getting to know one another the three decided to talk about their quirks.

"Mine is called 'Summer Storm'. I can create huuuuge typhoons.", Midori told them. The other three looked fairly impressed. "I can make people tell the truth and I can tell when their lying." She looked at Shoto sympathetically.

"I can control people with my voice...", Shinso told them, sounding saddened by something. Did he deal with quirk discrimination as a kid? Shoto was unsure but felt that asking the boy in question would be rude.

The rest turned to Shoto after the two girls shared a look of worry. "I, uh, I can manipulate electricity... That's all. Nothing special or unique." he told them, awkwardly.
